I think people forget that the movie is kind of like prequel or origin story and a younger person is needed. And if they do make more, having young actor is good to have. It's still cool they gave him a cameo though
the movie was absolute dogshit and tom holland is not the right actor for Nathan drake. they only gave him the role because he's popular already coming from the MCU.
Do people not realize Tom is playing young nathen and in Uncharted 4 young nate looked exactly like Tom Holland ?

This movie is one of the biggest middle finger to fans since the new star wars movies. Glad Nolan north could get some cash from this crap
Liam McCentyre would’ve made a better Nathan Drake than Tom.
What they could've done with the Film Adaptation is basically make it a sequel to the games and have Nate & Elena's Daughter Cassandra as the Main Character and Nathan as the treasure hunting mentor.
And get everyone from the game to reprise their roles and have cast some big shot in Hollywood as Cassandra.
TLOU: Pedro kills it as Joel and Troy is great in his new role. Uncharted: Tom is not playing Drake, Nolan is for 5 seconds.

You know Nolan North would have been perfect, cast him as Nathan helping his daughter who followed in his footsteps, as she disappeared for a long time, making Nathan and Elana go looking for her…… only to find her on the cusp of the biggest archeological treasure hunt of the century! And once North gets too old have Holland play a younger Drake!
In my head canon thats just drake from an alternate timeline…

Funny thing: I hadn't played the Uncharted games when I watched Uncharted, but when he said, "something like that happened to me once," I KNEW that had to be a reference to the games.
tom holland was literally the worst person they could have picked to play nathan drake. Obviously hollywood had to fuck it up.

When I saw Nolan North (back then I didn't knew he was Nate's voice actor) I was like "Who is this guy?"
Until a few months later I said "Well I can go to hell for not knowing that detail lol"

Fun Fact: Tom Holland wanted Nolan North's approval for the role of Nathan Drake and Nolan North was actually very gracious about it and very surportive
