If the sun's rays can push then there's going to be friction on parts not perpendicular to the their course. Could we put that friction to work, maybe sharpening very fine blades such as scalpels or scythes?

nice video. One thing I would ask though is that even if these star exploring space vehicles come about, how would we get the information back. I mean radio waves would just take too long and even a laser system would not be practical seeing the amount of power required.
But, we have to make a propulsion system that is faster than a snail, if we going to seriously going to the Asteroid Belt, and beyond….
