  2. What crock !
To claim any land on the moon, you need to first settle there by building a moon base !
Maybe there should be a free for all in order to spur space exploration.

I hope China lands on the moon soon so that US can get off their laurels !
Nothing like a healthy competition to get countries interested in building a moonbase.

  4. Smh, I get tired of hearing about everything China is doing as a threat. I'm not a supporter of China but it clewr there is just bias against China in the western media regarding anything.

  5. If China has the foresight, vision, and intelligence to know that our future as a species relys on exploration and expansion then what's the problem? The united states has a brutal history of "claiming" territory as does every civilization. If us Americans can't get it together our country will be gone soon enough. A portion of our population has been indoctrinated, fooled, and tricked by an egomaniac so the moon shouldn't be our concern. When our government priorities change every 4-8 years so NASA will never be a priority even though it should. And seeing as though a large portion of our citizens believe a godman walked on water, turned it into wine, and fairy tales I don't think science and facts really matter. Evolution will take care of the morons whether they "believe" in it or not…

  7. Why are the Americans so insecure that anything is a threat to them? Stop the fear mongering and othering, and learn to work with others that don’t look like you. It’s as basic as pre-school.

  8. We could go to the moon in the 60's, while having domestic programs like the great society. Quit belly aching about tax dollars. This is a fantastic time to be An American! The Apollo mission represented America at its best and most unified! We need some unity now more than ever!

  9. First, you want to take over the moon, then you realize you can't, then you suspect others want to do the same, then you start to stop anyone from doing it, and finally you think you are on a amoral high ground.

  10. Yeah, right. China's Moon mission is called conquer and take over, while US moon mission is called explanation and benefit for human kind. This is a subtle brainwashing
