About 4 billion years ago mars would have had enough water to cover its entire surface in a liquid layer about 140 meters deep but it is more likely that the liquid would have pooled to form an ocean occupying almost half of mars northern hemisphere and in some regions reaching depths greater than 1.6 kilometers.

OK so you saw the movie Mad Max: Fury road. In a dystopian world lacking resources a band of brides escape the clutches of an evil dictator and is overlord siblings in order to find freedom and to discover a place where resources can be found and a better life lived, only to realize the very place they left had everything they needed. all they need to do was to get rid of the regime. We have much of the same scenario here. All this talk of venturing off to find another livable planet. Talk of preserving the species. well.. isn't the reason people are searching and dreaming for a better place is because they themselves are the species that ruined their planet in the first place? How on earth are people going to make a better place to live when all that is needed to make the earth a better has always been right here. If only Mars had water.. well earth has water. if only mars had a livable atmosphere , well earth has a livable atmosphere. We can go and terraform mars to replicate earth… really!!!??? i wonder what earth would say about how good a job you've down with it!. The real truth of the matter is the simple fact that man is very much like a virus or bacteria. different races equates to different strains of that virus / bacteria. and i wont go into logistics without sounding rather racists, but to me historically speaking i bet we can sum up which of these races aka strains has done the most damage to earth in all their supposed, civilized nature. Even now. we hear about CLEAN energy by way of nuclear. yet how clean is nuclear when you cant truly dispose of its byproduct, a ticking time bomb unto itself… sure just drop it all in a concrete sealed bunker and wait for the next generation to open it to their dismay. People, put plainly .. if we cant change our ways to make the very planet we were created on a better place, then how on earth OR better put.. OFF earth do we even think we can do better someplace else with far far FAR less. makes absolutely no sense. only if you can get it right hear can you even begin to assume you may have a slender chance of making it work out their. But people much like a virus really only think of how to survive and how to exploit resources till there's none left… and then its wash rinse repeat.
Mars was inhabitable and inhabited until the Great Cataclysm about 11,500 years ago which affected all the planets and culminated in the Earth's flood. These scientists sound so ridiculous with their claims of millions and billions of years like they know and anything about it.
There is plenty of evidence of past civilization on Mars and also evidence of nuclear explosions… You're simply not going to get the truth from mainstream 'science'.
Instead transform another planet why dont fix earth first.

Water could not be liquid on Mars it is way to cold to have liquid water. Why are they making fake videos except for needing money? If life had ever existed there it would have long since went underground and into extinction. The sun itself has killed all chances of life on the visible surface. Just like the new James Webb telescope the new things it sees are eons in the past and no longer there. We with the knowledge man has today is way short of what God knows for facts. Another dimension may hold some promise of some kind of spirit life we cannot even fathom.

The atmosphere on Mars is too thin to support life as we know it. The 1st investigation is to find out what destroyed the vegetation. Without an answer to that problem, little can be achieved. Deserts on Earth are dry but the atmosphere is not as thin as on Mars
