Astronomers throughout the world are in awe of this revolutionary discovery!
The James Webb Space Telescope has captured the illusive glow of city lights an incredible 7 trillion miles distant from Earth, exceeding all expectations! This mind-blowing achievement does more than just expand our horizons in terms of what we know about the universe. Speculation runs rampant as scientists pore over the data, searching for clues that could unlock the secrets of these mysterious celestial beacons.

WOW WHO ARE THEY SWEET
Do they have facebook?
Ya, where's the lights?
What sort of music they play .
Incorrect. As reverberation goes forward, the reverberation also goes backwards, where in the past can and does become the future. The effects of matter against antimatter.
For entertainment purposes, only.
The nearest star is 22 trillion miles away so how can this be
Possibly a reflection from Earth's surface?
Sure
Great, now they have to find a new planet to hide..
Hard to believe but then there is only fools around here it's hard to live in this ridiculous place
If we saw it, they're already extinct.
I bet they don't pay as much for electricity.
Who's changing the light bulbs π
Can yall pay some of our city light bills gah damn. .
Jul 18, 2022 β The James Webb Space Telescope cost taxpayers $10 billion.
You have no idea how proud I am that I worked on the voyager Assembly Test and Launch of voyager (ATLO) 1 an 2.
I believe they may have found city lights on another planet… but I do not believe they're 7 trillion miles away. I think they are much ,much closer, and they (nasa) just don't want us to know.
Not true
Sending messages through space is irresponsible, we have no idea whats out there but i do believe in life beyond our ignorant selves.
Earth-like planets universe Milky Way galaxy
Freeze a body and send it to space and wake up in a million years
Toooo much DRAG NAG…. BORING
Umm okay people while 7 trillion miles away may seem like a long distance let me clue you in on a little math. A light year is roughly 5.289 trillion miles in distance. The closest star system is Alpha Centari 4.24 light years from earth or 4.24Γ5.289 trillion miles. So this "planet with lights 7 trillion miles away" is a rogue planet just floating around in deep space just over 1 light year from earth. Now lets go with bigger numbers like 12 billion light years. How far is that exactly? Well lets just see. Well that would be around 63 sextillion 576 quintillion 48 quadrillion miles away.
