I think we went to the moon but none of the astronauts lived long after returning to earth all that radiation was to much. And the guys they show on tv and interviews were actors picked so it all looked like it was a success.

First of all the Soviets crashed on the moon on the Mars I mean twice they also crashed on the moon once and they’ve been to Venus I think 14 times with only about six of them being successful
So explain to me why they didn’t go to the Moon first they never intended to send a human being tomatoes. As a matter of fact, they never even attempted to send a human to the moon. They never intended to send a human to Venus. They just want to get there first. If they crashed, they called it a hard landing and if it was a complete failure, there was no conversation about it at all.

While it was a supreme effort, there was no way a manned Russian voyage to mars would ever have happened. IMHO, they had been cutting corners for years in order to be "first" that they were always lacking in the fundamentals and taking the necessary time to work through problems.
