Nasa is a mask. It was created to hide the facts of extraterrestrials. Everything we know about space comes from NASA. It's like a monopoly. Moreover, the people behind it are making lots of money. What is the point in going to the moon or mars or any other celestial body when we know the distances between them cannot be covered by conventional age-old ancient rocket technology. It's better to stay on earth and try to find new ways to cover such enormous distances.
You know, if they built landers in round roll bar cages with the mass at the bottom, they could roll to a stop antennas and tools up no matter how they landed…
Yes let’s throw more money at the problem because we are all about profit. Other countries use less money but greater results because their value is not about having money, not greed, but something else, your defeat. Those with eyes, will see.
Seems N.A.S.A was having much more luck landing 3 Rovers on Mars taking data and pictures then just trying to get landers on the moon. Seems N.A.S.A in more recent times has gone way down in successes. China is not having a problem landing two Rovers on the dark side of the moon taking samples and also bringing them back to earth. The way China is going they will have their astronauts on the moon as well as moon base space modules long before N.A.S.A will. N.A.S.A has plenty of excuses when things fail. Then saying the failure is a success. Like claiming the Starliner was a success. Making excuses for Boeing. Oh it was Covid. It is a supply issue. Seems China has no supply issues after Covid. It did not stop them from getting a Space Station built or a lander on the moon or the system to get the samples back. And they had lock downs longer and more then just one with Covid. When a company or Organization is failing. They get ride of the people in the positions that keep failing. N.A.S.A needs to clean house.
It seems clear that industry over-egged their commercial offers with optimistic technical and business case solutions to get a crack at the budgets on offer. So-called “success oriented pricing”. Now they look for reasons why the deliveries are slipping or failing. Coupled with this contractors most likely put pressure on NASA to become “better” anchor tenants with big increases in expected “pay-per-use”. Meanwhile their “anticipated” commercial business users take the back seat (if at all). NASA are themselves caught in a loop that needs missions to hit their milestones as well as promoting the “govt as customer” because they need this for their funding narratives – growing the seeds of a commercial economy etc etc – and no doubt have their own engineers who recognise shortcomings with these contractors and seek to add some heft to the design and devt teams.
To me it sounds like they're panicking and if you combine that with Elon Musk's mission to get people off Earth, it seems that we're facing a catastrophic event in the near future. Am I overthinking this or does anyone else agree? If this is the case then all this talk about money, budgets and delays needs to cease. How is it that we have quantum computing and advanced a.i., yet faulty operations and what seems like amateur mistakes? If money, a made up system which is not absolutely necessary, is causing issues during a critical moment, abandon it and get done that which is neccessary! If humanity goes extinct due to greed then hu anity got what it coming. We have the capabilities, the resources and the will but we also have the wrong individuals in positions for the wrong reasons and their inability is like a lifeguard who can't swim, attempting to save someone from drowning. GREED + EGO – CONFIDENCE & CAPABILITY = DISASTER.
Don't you think that all these rockets being launched over the last three years or so and more coming is a bit suspicious? I'm thinking they are building something up there. There's been so many and with nothing to show for it. Or is there? Have we got a spaceforce already in orbit or on the moon? They say the missions have had problems etc. but that's a good way of covering to send more up? Just saying. 🤷

It does not sound like a lot of issues. It sounds like exactly what one would expect in trying to develop a commercial approach to lunar exploration. The only unexpected thing is the pandemic. Even the underfunding by Congress is something one should expect. Most of these companies will either fail outright or leave this project and sector, and that will be about their approach rather than NASA. If they do not plan for delays, underfunding, and uncertainty, they are doomed.

bulding spacecraft is less a problem than bulding reliable rockets, world should use 1 or 2 companys and not 2trillion small ones
