Naruto is NOT a genius!

Naruto is NOT a genius and when I say that I mean compared to the other geniuses in the franchise Naruto does not stand out among them as a master on their level. I think it is fair to say that Naruto is smart and that Naruto is a well accomplished shinobi but when you look at the people who were called Genius Naruto kind of misses the mark. This isn’t going to be about power scaling however as no matter what ninja I put forward by the end of the series Naruto has surpassed them all in terms of power to the point he could probably beat them all just by himself but when talking about the genius conversation there are a few names that stand out among others Minato, Kakashi, Itachi, Orochimaru, & Sasuke. What I want to do with this video is separate the word genius from just strong people. I think I’ve made myself pretty clear in terms of what the video is going to be about so let’s not waste any more time. I do discussion videos about Naruto like this often so if you like that stuff consider subscribing and leaving a like on the video.

  1. When you think genius or prodigy, those are guys who came up differently. Who were on a higher potential than their peers. Of course it’s possible to scale past guys that are geniuses. Although, being a talented or gifted person doesn’t make u a prodigy or genius.

  2. Bro, you rarely miss and when you do its usually just that you're slightly off, but you weren't even aiming in the proper direction on this one. I don't think anyone was out here arguing that Naruto was the next Einstein or anything of the sort. If we take the definition of genius and diminish it all the way down as to mean 'someone who has an high IQ and is able to learn things quickly exclusively based off leveraging that IQ' then you would be right about Minato and Kakashi at least. But forgoing my own understand of what a 'genius', I checked Google, Merriam-Webster, Oxford, and Cambridge and none of them describe the word genius in a way that would exclude Naruto from contention. Also, how are you willing to disqualify Naruto's development because of his massive chakra stores and Kage Bunshin, yet not disqualify Sasuke for his Sharingan? There's also the fact that the one instance where we see Naruto and Sasuke training side by side – the tree climbing exercise – both of them finished the exercise within moments of each other. Even when Naruto has both more chakra that he must manage and has the Nine-tails disrupting his ability to control that chakra. Also you can't make me believe that you believe that Sasuke developed to the point that he did by Shippuden in a clean fashion. He literally left to join Orochimaru because Orochimaru had the ability to grant him more power by way of the curse seal, we're shown Orochimaru preforming experiments on practically everyone else, and Kabuto go from questionably being around jonin level to one of the strongest around at the time by medically enhancing himself. Like if we were dealing with bodybuilders and everyone around a particular bodybuilder is dosing up on steroids and that bodybuilder is developing faster than anyone else, the logical assumption wouldn't be "Of course they're not juicing". That feel like such a wild take, lol.

  3. As much as I love Naruto it was dumb to just automatically make him some genius-level character it was dumb on kishimoto’s part

Naruto is carried by his strong work ethic, morals, good nature and strong personality These traits is what helped him befriend the nine tails, able to master rasangon, and save sasuke.

These things don’t require high intelligence but a strong will or better yet a strong……“will of fire”………

  4. Main thing is for every Justus he learned he need shadow clones to assist and cut down the time.

Rasen shuriken needed two clones to “master” it and another few sets of those just so he can speed learn from the experience. And he could still only use it with one hand with kuramas help.

  5. It was a big point in the early series that kurama disturbed Naruto’s chakra control by the nature of minatos 9 tetragram seal which is why he would be putting more chakra into jutsus that others could do with less. Regardless, while suppressing kuramas chakra and being disrupted by it he still managed to find work arounds and learn high level techniques that he applied in creative ways. Dude’s just spouting nonsense for reactions, the whole point of Naruto’s underdog arc was the way he had to work harder to get around the impact being a jinchuriki both in the leafs society and on his path to be a ninja.

  6. The premise of this video falls apart once you Google the definition of genius and realize all the things listed is proof of being a genius. It's not just pure intelligence. If you think Naruto isn't a combative genius you're being disingenuous.

  7. So, If Minato had Kyuubii level or even Uzumaki level Chakra in him, then could he instantly master Rasenshuriken?

Also his Sage Mode Shadow clone hack was goated, not even Minato could think of that. Although you could say that it is his unorthodox factor.

  8. This is just wrong. Naruto literally turned into hundreds of rocks in 5 seconds to fool Pain/Nagato (Who Has More Experience and is a Battle Genius) He learned Sennin Mode without Kurama who was actually a hindrance in his sage training and could not merge with Toad Boss, which would’ve made Naruto a bigger threat than his regular sage mode since those two could have absorbed sage energy for him and help him with combination techniques + frog song. Learning rasengan was never something that Kurama had to do with either. In another timeline in movie road to ninja Menma Naruto alternate universe who didn’t have 9 tails but still learned a similar attack to the rasengan like a mini rasenshuriken if it wasn’t the rasengan itself. Kurama also tells Naruto after baryon mode wears off and when he says goodbye that Naruto still would’ve been Hokage even without him. So this is just all levels of bullshit and wrong. Stop drinking the haterade bottle and start making better content than trashing Naruto. Let’s talk about how ass bleach ending was in manga or how ichigo is carried by being a mutt of soul repeaper, Quincy, hollow, fullbringer, or how Luffy is a joyboy merchant because he ate the fruit.
