Narrow Way Pt. 2

Narrow Way Pt. 2

The Fog Of War
Joshua 6:1-7, 15-16, 20-21 (Luke 5:1-11, 12-32, 7:1-17, 22-23)
When God is our shepherd we are sure to be able to navigate the seemingly impossible moments in life along the narrow way. It will always require patience in the process that may not immediately make sense to us, but if we listen He is faithful to answer. Where is life confusing, and are we asking God about it?

Give Us Understanding
Joshua 7:1-3, 4-9, 10, 7:25-26, 8:1 (Luke 6:12-49)
We are blessed when we remember the way of the Lord instead of insisting our own way, and we feel defeat when we take what we feel we deserve or place our own life ahead of our relationship with the Lord. Where are we being selfish in regards to what it means to be blessed? Or where we give our love? Or how we view others?

A Spring That Feeds
Joshua 9:1-7,15-16, 10:1-5, 26(11:1-6, 9-13, 21-22) (Luke 9:18-27, 28-36)
We need to notice that there is no sense trying to fight the narrow way that leads to life, in fact we are taught by Jesus to surrender in His example and His words. Where in our lives are we trying to justify and fight what God is clearly asking us to let go of?

What God is doing in us and around us along the narrow way is not one of genocide, but one of healing and driving out what is dangerous for us, and for the people around us. There are things or people in our life that may need to be devoted to destruction, other things simply need to be pushed to the side so that God can be seen at the center.
Joshua 10:36-39, 15:13-15
