  2. I dont think the innkeeper is sus for not finding reyda. Evenin the modern world police dont find bodies underwater unless they wash ashore or if they have a good reason to suspect the body is underwater and are actively looking. If you were just a good samaritan looking for a missing woman would you start swimming through all the rivers surrounding the area on the off chance youll find the body?

  3. This and many other unsolvable mysteries in ES5:S are there because the game was rushed for the original 11.11.11 release date and lots of questlines were cut from the game, all the pieces were left intact but either the quest was left unwritten, npc dialogue not recorded, or the physical assets of later questline connections left unplaced. At release this was entirely acceptable as a sacrifice to meet release, and the game doesn't really suffer. After 11 years, and multiple releases on multiple consoles, multiple expansions, DLC, and the Special Edition witg updated textures, new items, and the updated engine, there's really no excuse to have so many puzzles left unsolvable except that Tod Howard thinks they're too complicated (for himself) and if it's hard for Tod, it's "impossible" for anybody else. 🤣

  4. The prince of madness was once the prince of order. Music is a very pure form of order is it not. I mean it can be chaotic but for the lost part its orderly. Was his creation of music his attempt at regaining his order through the chaotic death of these young woman?

  5. This video is amazing but also wtf could be more powerful than the fact that the tits are clearly modded for this 4 hour murder investigation. Sir I have feelings for you that's the funniest thing anybodys ever done

  6. What a FANTASTICALLY put together theory! The Sheogorath stuff seemed like a bit of a stretch to me hahahahah but all the rest, Wilhelm, Bersi, Gabriella, it's perfect. I felt like I was reading an Agatha Christie novel as it all came together in the end! Brilliant work, looking forward to the next installment in the series!!

  7. The rift has a lot of connections to sheogorath. All the crazy ppl already mentioned in this video and the crazy ppl in the riften sewers/warrens. Also In anniversary edition u can find dawnfang/duskfang in the sewers which in the shivering isles dlc u get by completing the quest baiting the trap. Which was mentioned in this video. U also get Nerveshatter in the rift. Just weird connections between sheo and the rift.

  8. Idk if anyone else has said this already, but if stars in the Elder Scrolls are holes and Sheo is the "Mad Star," then "Sithis-shaped Hole," just means "Fell Star." >:-)

  9. I had mostly the same conclusions as you, but I thought Rayda was using her alchemical skills to make potions as a sort of drug dealer. This was because of the special potion in the Shrouded hearth barrow and the various weird actions around the town. Also, Narfi's "madness" had symptoms of confusion, paranoia, and obsession. random and often obscure fasciation and reptation of these random and obscure actions and beliefs such as mining a mountain, which are associated with most types of psychosis. Still, without other symptoms, such as hallucinations, he seems to most likely have psychosis associated with damage from substance abuse. Alcohol abuse wouldn't really do this, although it could be an effect of it, significantly if what he was previously taking was cut off suddenly. He says, "no more Sleep," so I think Rayna took up alchemy to make sleeping potions to help Narfi rest after a traumatic experience such as his parent's death; she may have continued giving it to him either because she viewed the psychosis sided effects as a necessary evil to give him some rest, possibly she didn't care about the side effects as caring for him was to hard work for her. She saw the side effects as a price worth paying to get some peace, or she found alchemy more and more fascinating and was interested in what was happening as a sort of unethical experiment. The alchemical skills developed and became both a lifestyle and a profession. She started making experimental potions for people in town for either additional money or her interest and experimentation, which given the dissatisfaction with life generally in the town, it is easy enough to believe they accept a potential short-term escape. Still, it had negative effects on the people of the town, and I was thinking Wilhelm found out, disapproved, and contacted the dark brotherhood. After that, I more or less agree with the conclusions you came to. great video, thank you for it : )

  10. Sithis-Shaped Hole…

As you mentioned, the stars are holes in the world that open onto Aetherius, and Sheogorath is called the Sithis-Shaped Hole — or put another way, a hole in the heavens (a star) through which Sithis can pass through. Astrid mentions that most everyone in the Dark Brotherhood is mad, in some way — "[…] we've always welcomed those… shunned by society. Werewolves, wizards, eternal ten year-old vampires… what does it matter? In truth, I've rarely met a lunatic I haven't liked." There's an association there. Sithis is the chief entropic force in the setting, and Sheogorath represents madness — the entropy of the mind.

Could it be that there's some kind of pact or alignment there? That the influence of Sheogorath makes it possible for Sithis to influence Nirn?

  11. I appreciate the hard and meticulous work that went into making this video but it is over 4 hours long and full of repetitious information. It's one thing to do a little recap here and there but you have several instances of repeating the same information 2 or 3 times in a row. I urge you to do more editing on this one because the topic is fascinating but who has time for 4 hours of repetitious information.

  12. Skyrim: "hey here's an miscellaneous quest featuring Narfi who's a bit of an odd fellow."

Camelworks: makes a 4 hour video on said quest and a conspiracy that involves nearly the entire hold of the rift.

Jokes aside though, a very good video. I'm glad I watched it all. One thing though, I feel like the direction of the waterflow is simply a developer oversight or restriction of the game engine, similar to why the arrows float instead of being at the body.

  13. You've put a lot into this, a game that hardly anybody plays anymore, yet is still ingrained in our minds forever.
Do you think there's enough material to see you through until TESVI?
