Pope Francis is inviting the Church to rediscover “the power and the truth of the Christian celebration.” In a 15 page letter released on Wednesday, the Holy Father said in part that he wants the beauty of the Christian celebration to not be spoiled. The Pope’s message was released to coincide with the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul. Also on Wednesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi received Holy Communion at Mass with Pope Francis at the Vatican. EWTN Vatican Bureau Chief, Andreas Thonhauser, joins to tell us more about that.
