US Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has met Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen in a visit that has been strongly condemned by China.
Ms Pelosi, the most senior US politician in 25 years to visit Taiwan, said her delegation had come to make it “unequivocally clear” that the US would not “abandon” the island.
China had earlier said the US would “pay the price” for Ms Pelosi’s visit.
Taiwan is self-ruled, but China sees it as a breakaway province that will eventually unite with it.

You guys should really see what their government’s doing☹️ They blocked everything and only show their people what they want them to see. They’re always speaking how outside of the “wall” is bad. They called Japanese people “little Japan”as a derogatory word and even celebrate when Abeshizo got murdered. They blocked anyone who’s having different voice. China now knows it’s only a matter of time before the western empire moves nuclear missiles into Taiwan (It’s Taiwan’s only realistic chance to break away from China). This forces China to set up mandatory boarding and inspecting of all ships going to Taiwan. China will not simply wait for a Cuban Missile Crisis to develop.
