  1. Hmmmm, go search Irvin Finkle…the Noah’s ark is NOT what’s told in some book, written thousands of years after the fact.
The boat is real, but…not nearly even close to what we’ve been led, mistakenly to believe….

  2. This is supposed to be a bunch of scholars and historians? Don't get me wrong, it's important to hypothesize and consider the concept that the Bible, the Torah, was possibly written to identically take from a story or religious legend that happened before it and make it into its own, but there's more to it than that. Yes, there was a story existing approximately a thousand years before the story of the flood was told in the Bible or Torah, however, at least according to the contents of the Bible and Torah, God was retelling Moses the events that had happened prior. In terms of the Bible, and this is believable by historical standards as well, something to take into consideration rather than label, Utnapishim and that story could have easily been a folktale retelling of the stories left behind by Noah himself, and his family that continued after him, as most things do, eventually becoming known as something else before being retold by God himself to Moses. I understand this seems somewhat contrived, however, this exact type of scenario has happened in real life multiple times, and technically, on a daily basis. You hear something told by someone else before you hear it or read it published somewhere else, it's not uncommon. I do think it's important to take consideration to the possibility that it was just copied over to the Bible, like Greek to Norse mythologies were, but I think the answer they landed on here was immature, or premature, at best. Still, the information itself is fascinating, but pretty obvious it was the Noah's ark retelling considering how much exact proportions, locations, and otherwise exactly how much of it was dead on site in terms of biblical standards rather than the story of Utnapishim.

  3. Strangely the same story occurs in Hindu faith system much before Bible. The story of manu . Manu built a boat as he had divine intervention informing him about a huge flood that was about to engulf the planet. He and the saptarshi along with a wife variety of animals and plants boarded that boat

  4. The old testament was written for a simpler time not about one. The ark you are looking for can be seen almost every night in the sky above us. For those of us that know and understand the ark is what we call the moon, the earths natural satellite. Which is approximately 2000 miles in diameter. With room for a star at the bottom for gravity along with a ocean or two that still makes for over 1500 layers with mile high sky's on the inside of the moon. With enough space for wild life and plants to flourish like a zoo. The Earth we live on also has a star in the middle of it, which is what gives the planet its electrical magnetic force we call gravity and the ozone layer. This star has a life span of about 4500 to 6000 years it is a smaller star. When the star is getting week once again there will be a flood and an ice age in order to save the water when the ozone layer shuts down and the old star need to be replaced with a new one. At this time all people whom have understood and were worthy in the eyes of he lord. The ones with human souls still and that didn't help build a wall against his son and keep his god given gifts from him. Will be saved and live inside the moon until the planet flourishes again. Please help me, vampires are holding my souls hostage Erie, Pennsylvania USA. Its happening again. For more information please ask.

  5. If the flood of the bible was just a local flood, then God lied. "I will never again, destroy the Earth by water/flood". Well, in the last 150 years. The Earth has had floods that rival what you depicted in this documentary.
Sorry folks but the biblical flood was literally covering the Earth.

  6. Stories of a great flood exist in cultures across the world. (Just because the tale of Gilgamesh was written before Moses wrote of the flood, he penned the first five books of the Bible, doesn’t mean Noah’s story is descended from Gilgamesh. Perhaps it’s the other way around.)

  7. The greatest evidence of the flood is these huge salt water lakes all over the world. Especially in desert areas. Where you would only have water in. And not water going out.
    The Great Salt Lake.
    The Salton Sea.
    The Dead Sea.
Because if there was a flood that covered the entire earth. That water would have been salt water.
How did the fresh water fish survive? That’s why God had it rain for 40 days and nights. Fresh water does not mix with salt water. Therefore, the fresh water fish could have survived on the top of the water. While the salt water fish would have stayed down in the salt water.
And, the way that the earth was flooded is explained in the Bible but most people miss it.
It says, the foundation of the deep was broken up. How did that happen? Most likely a passing rouge planet simply lifted up on the surface of the ocean and then the water spilled out over the Continent s. The Bible says in Gen. 7:24 that the waters prevailed upon the earth for 150 days. Basically it was like a massive tide coming in for 150 days. And then in Genesis 8:3 the water return to the ocean after 150 days.
Or as this rogue planet heads back into space, the gradational effect would have decreased upon the bottom of the surface of the oceans. Like a magnet as you put it closer to a piece of metal its effects are more visible. And as you pull it away its effects decrease on the piece of metal.
There are places on the earth that captured the water as it headed back out to sea. Left behind were large inlet seas such as Lake Bonneville, now called the great Salt Lake. The evidence of this lake is on the side of the mountain. A large level indentation has been left behind by the original lake. If you go on Google Earth and look at the Salton Sea for example, you can see that it was much larger in the past. And in fact, if you fly over the California and Nevada Dessert and look down at the surface. You can see thousands of dried up lake beds left over by water. Some of them are massive. There is evidence of Salt Water all over the earth.
However, most Scientists and Scholars would say there was no flood. Why, because that would mean that there was a Prophet named Noah who got instructions from God to build a massive boat.
And to all the other comments one might have I say this.
    “With God, nothing is impossible”.
Finally, I suggest that everyone go and watch the Ron Wyatt film. The one that he’s wife and family made about his experience. If you don’t go away being a believer after watching that video. I don’t know what else to tell you. Ron Wyatt was obviously chosen by God to find the ark and bring his findings to the masses. Ron Wyatt was a good man. A man God used to perform a great discovery.

  8. Within the Noah's Ark story there is "mathematical data" from which a map of a voyage can be constructed … a voyage from Heliopolis, the ancient capital of Egypt, to the Isle of Patmos. The biblical story is actually two interwoven stories. One contains the "map numbers". in the other the numbers are merely symbolic. Ararat is mentioned in this 2nd story … which leads one to suppose that there was a further movement into the Black Sea. Possibly these people later moved across to Northern Mesopotamia, and then, as "Abraham", back to Egypt … a "round trip" over several generations. Did the author of revelations know about this map? The voyage may have a been a flight of refugees from Egypt during the chaos at the end of the Old Kingdom (2150 bc). Maybe the ancestors of the Israelites built the pyramids?
