When it comes to the character Warstar, the two symbiotic critters that compose him, I think, should be pronounced "bee-knee" and Cecil, as an homage to "Beany and Cecil," the 1962 animated television series that probably was enjoyed by Chris Claremont during his childhood (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beany_and_Cecil). I've never heard Claremont say this, but I've always assumed this (and I think this was the pronunciation used in the X-Men animated show (but that was nearly 30 years ago, so who knows!).
