  1. Weve seen the darksaber against lightsabers several times already. Obi wan, Ahsoka, and Maul all fought against Pre visla in various Clone Wars episodes. This farrr from the first time.

  2. "Are you sure it's C-3PO?"

    😐

This is like in Last Crusade when Dr. Elsa Schneider asked Indiana Jones if he was sure the image on the wall was the Ark of the Covenant.

    "Pretty sure."

  3. 5:50 If it was an ISD-I and it was fully staffed: there were 47,298 people on that ship. If it was an ISD-II there were only 46,785 people there. People lose perspective with this stuff. That was like 16 9/11s. But Tarkin killed over 2 billion with the Death Star so…

8:20 They don't use them in full power all the time. Lightsabers have settings for training and adjusting length. The Jedi also used to have training sabers that could scorch clothing but not much else. And their training droids were equipped with Electrostaff type weapons.

  4. One thing about agent Kallus, watch the episode with him and zeb on the moon, and when they're rescued, Kallus sees the rebels happy to rescue zeb. But Kallus goes back to his ship, where no one cares, and sits in his room alone. To me, that's the moment he changes sides.

  5. I get why Sabine's mother stood with the Empire, she has an entire clan to protect she thinks if the clan remains loyal they'll be safe, but man is that going to do a number on a kid

  6. Not sure if it’s still the case, but in some of the old Legends books (I think it was the Young Jedi Series), they explained that lightsabers had dials to change their intensity. So they could be used without the risk of severing a limb.
No idea how this would work for some like… paper thin species, but I hope that helps.

  7. Sabine's voice actress perfectly delivered the highly emotional lines there! Such an awesome episode, with Dark Saber lore and Kanan bringing Sabine's pain up to the surface, as he did with Ezra asking what he was afraid of. Furthermore we learn a lot of the state Mandalore is in and how fierce a worrior her mom and family are. The first episode is fun, but very significant in the end, with Thrawn showing his wit there. Great reactions!

  8. spoilers for Mandalorian ahead
Notice how Sabine was able to use the Darksaber relatively well in the beginning, but when she started to doubt herself during her training and she grew conflicted, lost her focus, she struggled to wield it properly. Kanan even commented on this. I love how they brought this forward to the The Book of Boba Fett with Din struggling to even being able to lift it properly and the Armorer making the same observations Kanan did. It is a little telling that we also saw Paz Vizsla unable to properly fight with it immediately when he temporarily disarmed Din. However, Bo-Katan was able to use the blade with no effort at all.

  10. That droid reminds me A LOT if the robot that was voiced by Allan Rickman in the movie "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." Now that is a movie you should definitely react to.

  11. Actually no; The Jedi have these things called Training Sabers which function in every way as a Lightsaber but they don't actually cut anything or do any lasting damage. It's like if they adapted a minor stunning bolt into a saner blade. Like tghe little training balls that Luke used to help train Grogu?? Except imagine those little bolts as a blade. OHJ!!! even better; remember the Younglings Yoda was teaching in the classroom in Attack of the Clones?? Those were ALL training lightsabers. colorful. But don't cause any damage.

  12. Yeah, not sure WHY Holden did that cringe noise when Ezra essentially told Sabine to STOP being petty and self absorbed. She was feeling sorry for herself and acting like SHE and she ALONE has issues and he just completely put her in her place. Like "Hey! get over yourself. YOU have family and you are complaining to someone who doesn't. Feel sorry for yourself around someone else."

  13. So Holden who's very snarky and says things out of line hates when Ezra who a teenager not an adult like him does the same thing? Ezra's excuse is he's trying to get Sabine to stop feeling sorry for herself and focus. And every episode i look forward to them nitpicking something and the complaint about the name Tristan when you have names that are so normal in the star wars universe like ben and Luke doesn't disappoint

  14. I know the episode of the robot might looks like a filler but what happened here is important in the future. I guess people have a miscommunication of a filler episode, yes maybe the episode wasn't as relevant as the ones of Sabine and the dark saber but in these shows every episode has a mean to exist

  15. A lot of the character design in Rebels was based on early Star Wars conceptual art by Ralph McQuarrie. The infiltration droid, as you showed in a cutaway, was based on an early design for C-3PO. Likewise, Zeb was an early version of Chewbacca.

  16. There are dials on sabers that allow the users to change the intensity of the blade to a “practice” saber that does no damage but stuns slightly.. of COURSE they are NOT training younglings with full on powered sabers…. Lol

  17. RIP Ray Stevenson The voice of Gar Saxon .. Can't wait to see his work in live action in the Ahsoka series , He's the one thats holding The orange light saber in the trailer with the beard .. They had to get rid of sabine It will become obvious why…
