  1. omg holden, the best of rebels is not the vader/ashoka situation! enjoy the ride man. These episodes are why rebels is so good, cus they expand on NEW things, about the force, about new species, about new places in the galaxy, focus on the episodes, not on the general story

  2. I deleted and moved my comment to is extended place.
If you remember from The Mandalorian Season 3, The shadow that Grogu saw out of the Droid Pod Bubble, was a Purrgil.

  3. The Vancouver Aquarium from British Columbia Canada is a different kind of aquarium. No animals are taken from nature. The only animals there are rehabilitation animals who have amputations or are somehow deemed unfit to survive in the wild. They are ALL rescues or born in captivity. No animals are taken from the wild! It is a non-profit organization. Not all aquatic animal organizations are bad! A lot of their operations are animal rescue! Sea otters sea lions seals beluga whales, they all get injured on the coast!!

  4. Hera is, and always was, in charge. Kanan's callsign was Spectre 1 and Hera was Spectre 2 on purpose so folks would assume he was in charge when she had all the vital info. It was part of the same subterfuge as keeping Sabine locked out of the loop vis a vis Fulcrum, to keep each rebel cell as separate as possible

  5. Just to clarify the mandalorians can remove their helmets. The ones that don’t are part of an old religious group, they are also very very very few who actually follow that “Never take off your helmet” rule.

  6. @Holden Loving the reactions but I gotta say. The show is more then just Ashoka and Vader. 32:11 Enjoy the character building of every one of the rebels. I know you two are way past this episode at this point, but enjoy the ride.

  7. Certain reactors tend to say "this doesn't seem to go nowhere" and basically dont know if a scene has so bearing in the future or the past. And Its called rebels not the Asoka and Anakin show.

  8. Remember thaat some Mandos allied themselves with Maul… They like order and violence.
The whales are like a Star Trek/Wars crossover, which I like a lot.
Purgils are well connected to the Force and Ezra is well connected to animals through the Force. He can't help but help them.

  9. I don’t think it’s an impulsiveness thing. It’s an Ezra trusting in the force thing. He has a strong connection to living creatures, and Kanann knows it.

Ezra is growing and maturing, but in this case I do think he was totally in the right.

  10. Ok, I'm going to be brutally honest with you Holden. You need to stop talking about "these little one off stories…" like you do. All these little stories are introducing you to characters, stories, history, things, that will all show themselves in due time. I can tell you this story is VERY relevant to what will happen at the END of Rebels and even carries into the Ashoka series you're getting ready to watch on Disney. In fact, you've already seen the Purrgil in Mando Season 3 when he's traveling through hyperspace sleeping and Grogu is watching them. So these are NOT little one-off stories. They will all come together in the end. Maybe not in Rebels, but they will show themselves further down the road as to why the were important. After all, had you only met Bane in Boba Fett, you would have NO idea about him unless you watched The Clone Wars. Very few of these stories are truly one-off, most have something to revel later either in Rebels or another show so you get a deeper understanding of the Star Wars universe. Just pay attention and realize that almost everything is linked together.

There are some lines in Rebels that I really like for a few reasons. One of them is Kanan's "Hera, if you gave her the chance" and Kanan and Hera's interactions at 22:43 but I think for those specifically, I just like the dynamic between Hera and Kanan
