I was more of an Antz guy growing up
Eh i guess i can understand her points as to why it wasn't very good but I just have to strongly disagree.
It is a very underrated gem ♥
This was my kids' favorite movie growing up. I've watched it sooo many times. But a movie I'll never tire of.
Omg intro helped remind me of that movie Ants that and unlocked some memories I forgot until now. Also the short about the guy playing chess I vaguely remember it! I miss the “bugs life” attraction at disneys California adventure! I just found old camcorder footage of when i was a child riding the rides
I remembered playing the Playstation game of this movie. Damn what nostalgia
Please react to The Hunger Games Franchise! They are the best book to movie adaptation out there imo. These movies carry such a weight to them because of how tragic the world is but also because it’s eerie similarities to our own society. I think Jen will like it, especially the sequel! Thank you love your content! ❤
Hey mate! You should watch ANTS 👌 great movie!
Never mind which film is better between A Bug's Life and Antz, lets talk about how amazing the A Bug's Life game was on the original PlayStation. Top tier gaming.
Interstellar!!!!! PLEASE
I'm a beautiful butterfly 😂 fav line. On the topic of bugs theres also 'bee movie'! Also, do you have Titan AE on your radar?
def recommend big hero 6!! super underrated
I'm with you, Holden in that I liked Antz better, but again, I'm A LOT older than you guys-I'm an old Gen Xer, and so even though I saw the two films in the movies just like you, I was already an adult when they came out, so I don't have the childhood memories of them. (It still weirds me out when you call 90s movies "classics" since in my mind classics are movies that came out before I was born-say the 60s and before)
Again, this is my knowledge as an oldster, but the mantis saying "the pain, the pain" was an homage to the voice actor's role as Dr Smith in Lost in Space in the 60s. This was also Roddy McDowell's last film. He was one of the few child actors (from the 40s) who transitioned to adult acting. He's best known for National Velvet as a child actor, and Planet of the Apes (the original series) as an adult. I also know him as one of the baddies from The Cat From Outer Space (you can actually see what he looks like there). This is also Madelin Kahn's last film (she was the "straight man" from What's Up Doc?) I guess you guys have no idea of any of these actors. Actually, all of those shows were from before I was born too, but we Gen Xer watched films and shows from before our time, and young ones today barely watch anything from a time before they were born
Such an underappreciated movie. Glad to know there's someone out there willing to give it a look nowadays 😊
oooo no i couldnt get with someone that dont like bugs life its ten out of ten
Antz is great value bugs life
you know Antz is a way better movie especially when you know that a ;pt of Pixar people left for Dreamworks to make Antz but Pixar kept rights for a 3D bug movie… This movie started the rivalry between Pixar and Dreamworks and I think Dreamworks brings in better quality and storytelling every time. I love them both though
When Disney was fun and relevant.
This is the first film I can remember going to see in the cinema!
Have they watched Wall-E yet?!?!🤔 Little unknown fact, the guy who voices the flea (ringleader of the circus) has voiced in EVERY Pixar film
Epic and Surfs Up are definitely great animations and must see
Wow, harsh call there by Jen…. yeh each to their own, I guess.
Really liked this movie when it was at the cinema and loved bloopers at the end….. definitely a favourite. 🙂
Seeing the reactions again, the Caterpillar guy is the favourite character for me…. so funny "Look, I'm a beautiful butterfly!"
Hilarious 🙂
One of the best Pixar Movies
In another "What If" universe, I wonder if Jen's rating would be higher if watching Pixar films in release order. Early years of Pixar had simple story telling compare to today
Ants & bugs life. Two similar movies, open voice by allegedly sexual predators. Woody Allen , Kevin spacie
I think Jen would really like the Pixar Shorts. They’re always a pleasure to experience no matter how many times I’ve seen them.
Just finished watching this movie just to see your reaction video.
This is probably one of my Pixar faves. It is actually loosely based on the 1954 movie Seven Samurai.
waiting for Disney Pixar Cars 🔥🔥🔥💯💯
An Underrated Pixar movie in dire need of a sequel
I saw Antz before A Bug's Life and I really liked it! Both movies are great, imho.
It's funny that a bug's life was released in November 1998, after Antz was released in October as the same year.
Antz was great, think Jen would like that movie much more
I definitely vote for an aunt's episode. I think Jen would like that more than a bug's Life
Next Station : WALL-E !!! , please i need that reaction for this one
ANTZ >>> bugs life
Love this movie.
i cant wait for the day u guys react too fox and the hound such a great movie 🙂
I completely forgot about this movie
I like how the Bird in this movie is basically portrayed as a T-rex, that's because Birds are living Dinosaurs.
Definitely watch Antz like you mentioned!
It’s an animated seven samurai/magnificent seven
Antz holds a hilarious place in my heart. The first time my mom watched it, she was shocked that there was a swear word in a kid's movie. I couldn't stop laughing because I was a teen by the time she noticed, and it was years after I had the movie on VHS.
It's a class movie no one talks about anymore.
would love if u guys check out TMNT Mutant Mayhem definitely think you guys would enjoy it if u haven't seen it already
I remember watching this, Antz, and The Ant Bully often as a kid when they'd be shown on TV, and A Bug's Life is probably to one I've seen the least. I definitely preferred the other 2 as a kid, though it's been years since I fully saw all 3.
Essentially Seven Samurai but bugs
Have you done WallE
Day 8 of asking to finish the Shrek saga with Shrek 3 and 4, especially 4
I definitely think ANTZ is the superior film. I watched both when they came out and this was definitely skews younger.
