  1. i've always played the game diffrently from others. I'm the solo, niether the Rat, niether the Chad, i'm the one who gets what is left, i don't mind combat, but if I have to, i can both be aggressive as much as be hidden and waiting for you because I know where you'll be.

    This is tarkov for me

  2. Jesse, loved that collab with brownells, you and Caleb did a fantastic job, was pleasantly surprised to see those videos come up on my feed. I guess tarkov attracts people who are interested in guns irl for the weapon modification alone. Thanks

  3. The basketball analogy is great for tarkov, sometimes the ball doesn’t bounce the way you thought, more times you see that awkward rebound or fumble the better you are at dealing with it!!

  4. My one argument is I feel like you have to be aggressive in a gameplay loop sense because the W chads are aggressive and know where and get all the good loot and gamma that chit but beside that thank you for the tips

  5. If you're someone who feels like tarkov gunplay is too unfamiliar, definitely equip a weapon you'd typically run in a raid (or most likely to) and try offline against scavs. It really helped me become more comfortable with aiming, recoil and moving around cover. Also change your controls for things like tactical devices, magazine checks, malfunctions etc. to something you remember and can press easily

  6. I would have to agree with everything you said Jesse, this game more than any other i have ever played takes so much dang practice no matter which way you play it. you gotta put in the hours and accept that death is a part of your fate

  7. I loved your point that 12.12 made more play styles more viable. I am playing way more from range and sniping more than I ever have, its super fun and fresh, shooter born is finally not a grind. I have also found myself combining my aggressive and slow tactics. I would love your advice on when and where to use more slow and aggressive concepts.

  8. A squad tactics video for new players would be amazing! After 4 wipes basically solo a bunch of my buddys finally got eft! But holy is it frustrating paying with more then 2 of them

  9. This wipe, my 3rd, is definitely my best yet. Personally the only big change is I am hip firing a ton and winning most of my fights. I just don't know if it is because I'm running SMGs with lots of bullets, flea market/inertia changes, or if I just finally played enough to have a better grip of the game. Regardless great video and helpful info and reminders at any level.

  10. Great job made here King Jesse, one suggestion of mine is maybe do a guide about how a duo or even 3 or 4 man team should split and still have ways to not team kill anyone and kill other teams, and what type of communication should we use in those times
Keep going with this good work, here on YT and also on Twitch!
Hugs from freekill_1995 love you brother <3

  11. I installed Tarkov late 2020 but hadn't fully dived into it, until this wipe. It's a damn hard game to get into but there's a real sense of satisfaction in it. I like the inventory management and the UI is beautiful. Tarkov fear sure is real, only now am I starting to turn from "fear everything and run" to "face everything and rise". As you said, you're gonna die in tarkov. It's the nature of the beast. So, with that all said I think best thing you can do is just fuckin send it – whether it's an aggressive send or a slow tactical send, just roll up your sleeves and get into the raid!

  12. Thanks for the tips. I'm a new comer in this wipe and to be honest, I didn't understand 80% of what you are saying. "Play as you want, but be aggressive, get enemy's info as you close in without giving out yours" sounds magic to me, let alone finding another player before getting killed. I think I'm way beneath the target you intended and currently I'm just learning the spawns by dying a lot.

  13. Love your content Jesse. I've learnt so much, but I'm terrible at the game.

A video on solo noob play incl. a good basic tier 1 trader gear setup, or making the most of slave junk gear would be really useful.

  14. Very important tip: record your deaths and watch it back thinking about what you did wrong! I see all the time people die and be like oh there was nothing I could have done different when they made clear mistakes they could’ve avoided. Also watch the beyond the grave series I have learned a lot there ^^

  15. Positioning is so important in every FPS game and EFT especially! Most often, I play solo and have average at best aim, yet, I still find myself winning the majority of my fights because I act quickly and reposition often. Also, now with inertia, holding angles is noticeably more effective so getting into a strong position provides an even greater advantage.

  16. I am still new to tarkov and this is my point of view to get better:
Most important thing you need to clear in mind: TARKOV is HARDCORE MMORPG with FPS elements on top of it.

People usually confuse it and think that TARKOV IS HARDCORE REALISTIC TACTICAL SHOOTER with MMORPG elements on top of it… It isnt. Its the other way around…
Once you make peace with this you can start working on how to be better because you will understand that if you meet people in "legendary" gear and you are wearing greens you will get fucked no matter what you do. Yes there are options like hitting the head to be able to kill better geared player or you can go for legs. But thats something you need to learn, because this game extremly unfriendly to new players. You cant practise with gear much because you get fucked and you lose it.

So with that said… use garbage gear. Ideally at least some semi automatic guns SCAVs are using and just go into fight knowing you will die. And you will most of the time. You will get one tapped even through 4 lvl armor because the guy you met has high level ammo which ignores armor, but your ammo are bbs… there is litteraly no punishment if you get shot in armor which stopped the bullet so fights are completely unrealisitc and unfair. Be ready for that and be ready to die.

But if you avoid combat you will not learn how to aim etc… you must go into combat to learn it. If you want to practise then go to offline mode and train with bots. It will at least help you get familiar with the gun, before you lose in real raid in 2 minutes… 🙂

Really for me the game changer is acceptance that this is basically World of Worcraft, but with guns. And I dont give shit if tarkov fanboy disagree, because it is a fact. There litteraly isnt a single tactical shooter so unrealistic like Tarkov. So stop pretending it is one. Its is survival RPG and its what makes it fun. To go explore, fear for your loot you need for hideout upgrades, quests etc…

I enjoy playing tarkov, but at the moment PVP is my least favourite part because of RPG mechanics in this game. And if some imbecil tries to convince me that armor is realistic then I encourage him to put it on and let someone empty for example standard MP5 ammo on him from 10m range…. Then let us share his experience after that. Because I believe it will stop the bullets, but I am wondering what your broken ribs etc will say next…. in scenario like that you will drop on the ground and will be a lot of pain. And the only thing you will think about is how to survive instead of Tarkov approach where you take it like champ wink on your attacker one tap him through level 4 armor… 🙂

Its a fun game, it has shitload of cool mechanics like types of injury, healing, looting, gear customization etc… but armors and bullets are World of Warcraft…
