Recently there was a 1v1 HOI4 Tournament hosted by Speed5 which are a venture of Paradox into esports and it was pretty fun.
There was a new HOI4 mod and map that introduced a new scenario to HOI4 Multiplayer and to the Hearts of Iron 1v1 scene.
And yes, Tommy was actually a part of it if you didn’t know, he was casting it.

You very obviously only went to very specific areas of Stockholm, the great archipelago garbage patch of the north. Also, pronoun-people are often not overtly and directly hostile; this is actually part of what tend to make them awful people, because they will smile the whole time until they can backstab you for literally any drip of internet clout or perceived social approval.

I love hearing Tommy’s hopes and dreams for Hoi4 and his place in the competitive side of it, I truly hope he can achieve these aspirations.

Big question about HOI4 is 5v5. This has become a standard in most games and would require not only personal skill but also good team building and good team play. Of course 5v5 will be brutally harder to balance.
So the ai and bugfix team will get some recources? Naa braindead ai still sends units through the channel, abandons frontlines. etc.
