outpost rush sucks, laggy mess and when you are melee and you use your gap closer, it teleports you back a few frames at the end.

i'm not 60 yet but some of my company are and shared a discord video.
it looked mad fun. everyone was having a blast.
i never played the alpha/betas and only followed people since the release so i never really understood what outpost rush was and why people were so bummed when it got disabled.
now i know, now i understand.
can't wait to hit 60 and dive into this.

I got bored around lvl 45…the mechanics don't seem great for pvp like….laggy movement and sticky feet feeling…weapon switching most of the time doesn't even work on the first attempt….
You also drop all inventory upon death, FYI. Amazing vids man, pulling me through since closed beta 🤙
Do your equipment breaks when you die in Outpost Rush?
If it does, feels like all the gold you gain from it will be waste on repairs.
Still just don't have a strategy to get too 60 quests take forever with little to no xp and townboards only give good xp 50% of the time.
I think it would be fun if pvp was balanced 😛

it actually works on your server? lol on my server nobody (not just me) can see the progression bars / materials you have , all of the hud is gone, and we dont get an end screen, it just ends and we all just stand around til it kicks us or we open the esc menu and hit leave lol.
Im just terrified for the future. Client side authoritative means were a bit of datamining away from all the worst hacks you can think of from gamings past. Only way this game lives is with a phenomenal anti cheat or a complete rebuild from the ground up to make everything server side as it should be, and its using EAC… so were probably fucked. Enjoy it while you can because it is a genuinely fun game but i sincerely doubt this ends up being many peoples main game once that other shoe drops
If it didnt lag terribly and my ice gauntlet autos didnt randomly disappear in the main ball it would be great. Hope they can fix that stuff.
Got guildies telling me it does not increase watermark. Really hope they are wrong. I can not be bothered to grind mobs for 500 hours just so 600 GS items MIGHT drop.
The best part about it is that you're rewarded well for winning or losing.
I'ma have to change specs though. Bow/spear is very underwhelming. Hitting heavy users for 800 when a life staff heals for 2k? Come on. So I guess I'm going icy hot.
Does gear get damaged in this game mode?
So this is something like a BG as we think about them in most games? You can queue as often as you like? It's not like the wars that are controlled top-down basically only by the largest companies on the server? How long does it take to get into a match on your server?

Outpost rush made me realise how light armor is shit in this game. Some weapon are absolutely ineffective in group PvP. This game revolve around heavy armor, GA, hammer, lifestaff…
Outpost rush is kinda aids, but it gives ok money.. so it might be worth it to do? It's not fun though.
It's neat and all, but I'm sitting here waiting for PvE content since I don't pvp xD
Outpost rush is revealing how unbalanced healing and deathball is.
Dude Outpost Rush literally changes this game entirely. Like oh my god it's so so good.
Would be nice if lower levels were included in the fun content. They could easily implement this for different level ranges.
