Yoo, Finding the PERFECT "SHINY" in Coromon.
Shiny Hunting in Coromon is a bit different. Potents have higher stats (17-20 in terms of IVs) and they appear roughly 1/35 chance or so to be a diff color.
Getting a 21 IV stat Coromon is PERFECT, these have a diff Shiny color from Potents and Regular Coromon. These are like 1/4000!
Very fun game to POTENT hunt on though!
Keep a hold of your 20 potent coromon…you get an expensive chance to make them perfect in the future.
I have finished this game and I'm not gonna spoil it for ya.
I like all types truthfully. Having STAB is the best thing to have but having multiple attack types on one. Is useful.
My favourite type is featured in late game (again, no spoilers).

For me I absolutely love the sand type coromon I'm this game, there are so many amazing designs for sand type coromon which also includes my favourite coromon skelatops

I just started Coromon and got potent nibblegar
Happy that you found a Bittybolt, I ended up spending hours trying to find a potent one when I was just about the exact same spot you are in the game since I found out about it later & backtracked to hunt for it. I didn't even have the reader yet so I took the first Garfield colored Bittybolt I encountered & put it on my squad, was shocked when I found out it was a 19. It's a perfect 21 now & it's a gorgeous electric blue. I also already evolved it.

Actually, Potents have a very POTENT spawn rate. In my demo playthrough, with no bonuses to the odds. I got seven potents. Two of the swurmys, My starter, two of the sillquillz.
A moffel, and a mino. It was about a 7 hour playthrough "But it feels far less than that" And most of them I caught in clump, I got my starter, my second encounter im the game was a silquill, i got another silquil soon after. I got my moffel, then I caught the two swurmys soon after, and finally got mino. Most of them were caught before the five hour mark. I don't even shiny hunt in pokemon, but Coromon has awesome odds. I can't wait for the Switch and Mobile release. However, the fact that they are stronger is a tad worrying, the online PVP meta may be filled with potents and perfects. But at least you can increase stats to make them mostly equal a perfect in stats.
Anybody else eagerly awaiting the full release to mobile and Switch. Fun fact, the devs plan on updating the game with more coromon, and more content. I love all the custom challenges you can make.
