That win percentage. Nice.
As soon as I saw Kellan Joins Up I thought the card should merge with the Reenact the Crime archetype in standard. I haven't tried it yet, but Kellan/Familiar paired with Reenact/Jewel+Vault should provide an insane amount of consistency with the added benefit of partially avoiding targeted graveyard hate
How does seth manages to get paired with so many terrible players?
53:20 – While I do agree that the mana base seems to be working overall, there were multiple instances of color screw when Seth needed to Supreme Verdict. I think that card in specific may be a bit to greedy on the mana base. Can the deck work with a more castable wrath? Or are there that many aggro decks in this format that have counterspells?
This deck is sick
Seth I'm working on my Birgi Ignus Combo deck for Timeless, its quite fun and consistent. It mulligans really well, and its so satisfying to grapeshot or imact tremors somebody for 20.
No fblthp? Lol
You should make an Open the Way Goldfish Thing
the biggest problem w this deck is ur filling up 8 slots w completely dead draws, and jace is a dead draw turns 1-3. 12 cards, or roughly 20% of your deck, is completely worthless most of the game. def better than the leyline of anticipation bs, i still dont get how some people think that's good, but i dont see it being seriously good.
It's a counters deck with extra steps!
I'm very confused by the fact that once you were on 1 and couldn't cast the Atraxa, that you kept her in hand instead of discarding her off Jace, which woulda let you cast her when Tibalt went ultimate
Did anyone else catch Seth say this was a Pioneer deck? 🤔
On the game 2 against golgari vampires rigging (first bo3), you could've just transformed valki into the hammerskull AFTER attacking and wouldn't get a stun counte
golden goose seems like a much better mana dork if your goal is to cast a tri-color or double-U spell on turn 2 or 3
Curious as to why no flicker of fate in the deck to flicker and retrigger Kellan joina in for more plotting?
@saffronolive here's some valuable info on the Drake Kendrick feud… https://youtu.be/7-3gMauGXfk?si=pJAGgdrII3_8MnS6
this deck feels like it could be good
why don't you run the pathway lands more? they enter untapped and you can choose the color you need.
When you said Tibalt, I thought you meant Tibalt's Trickery.
It will be even better with esika
So I don't think I'm going to use this in Pioneer, way too expensive, but this might have just solved a Commander I was debating selling and was gonna be sad because while he's my first I've never done a lot with him due to not having the right stuff/knowing the typical stuff you do with him. I think with this combo though this could be what we've been looking for all this time.
Unfair, he has plot armor!
i thought it was mildly bm to keep stylin on the opponent after getting the gg in game 5 but seth just didn't realize how big the team was lol
niceeee win rate
The humans game was really good
How is it possible to break a game like this? Totally ridiculous cheap scam shit play. Makes me not want to play at all with such scam cheat shits.
I was just feeling that no don't do it, when you had the option to play the vein ripper and took the cards instead. 😅
Wait is pioneer on arena?? I thought they only had explorer
4:12. Letting it rip.
fun fact if you give jace flash you can flash it out turn 1 (you have to cast it on your opponents turn as its not your turn)
Didn't Wizards have changed the rules so double-face card mana value was the sum of both costs?
The thumbnail is so wild lmao
Typical gamer: Wow, this guy sucks
Seth: Our opponent has made some choices this game that would be very different from the choices I would make
😂
What is twara?
Do you have any idea how infuriating it is when you pronounce soft "A"s as hard "A"s and vice versa.
So usually when I see people try to get Tibalt into play, it's through Bring To Light. Is the plot version better?
If you wanna have a higher chance of turboing out Jace or Kellan Joins Up wouldn't Goose be better to have a 4 off than running 8 elves? More consistently the right colors, though you do lose some long game.
How are you playing pioneer on arena?
I know Ulamog seems like such a big really good creature to put, but I just feel like something could be put at this place. Not sure what, but it felt dead a lot of the time except maybe the last game ?
Needs 4 copies of Thran Portal
hilariously during the final game seth's devotion to white was actually higher than his devotion to green, not that impacted much
I get so excited to hear the intro , and then its really sad 🙁 . Love the content Seth, but please I need an AAAAGGAAINST THE ODDS TIME
26:50 You are desparate for lifegain and your opponent was so nice to give you a 3/2 life linker. Why you no exile with Tibalt????
Edit, and then you still don't play it when you ultimate Tibalt…
at 24:30 we put ourselves dead on board but they punted by not tapping down a creature with giant killer
If this had been a Crim deck, it would have been called “The plot: it’s thickems”
