Experienced storm chasers make very calculated decisions when they decide to take risks, but it doesn’t matter how much planning you do, something at the last minute can change it all!

Thanks, Adam, for defining meteorological terms! I really appreciate how clearly you explain what you’re experiencing and the thought process behind chasing decisions. Looking forward to Spring!
Awesome timelapse of the Helena, OK cell! We were right under it and saw a very weak circulation but didn’t count it until it was put in the DAT. Great job despite the unfortunate circumstances!
Balls of steel getting in that needle notch. your good man!!!!!!
Things like this are every chasers worst nightmare, I chased the Rolling Fork Tornado and barely made it alive!! Your breakdown of the factors of the Supercell is Perfect.
Great story telling and narration. Nice video as always Adam!
Oh man…a flat tire while attempting to notch-ride an HP is a worst-nightmare chase scenario. That's why when it comes to HPs I usually just settle for shots like at 2:39. However even when trying to keep your distance the unexpected can happen, especially with, as you mentioned, the often dicey quality of rain-slicked back roads in the Plains/Midwest.
👍 for being honest..also maybe run flats ? Dunno
“ Only hail and high winds “
I’d be like “ OH SH*T !!! “
Bravo sir.
The reason I stopped following you is because you treat viewers like idiots.
Great job Adam!
Great video!!
Great reminder for those who think they are invincible or just get too caught up in the moment. Tornadoes are unpredictable and vehicles can fail. It's not worth the risk to life and limb.
sometimes even the most experienced storm chaser makes a wrong decision, we all know it happened before… that being said, I think every storm chaser that comes through Oklahoma should visit the Twistex memorial at least once to pay respects to them.
09:27 is the radio station called The Twister? Appreciate the analysis and graphics. That’s important for other chasers.
This is the kind of video stormchasers don't often make, and it's great because you're honest and humble. Aknowledging our own mistakes never comes easy, and you do it gracefully. Oh, and thanks a bunch for showing in live pictures what the radar scan means! That was priceless!
Gods bless those brave and kind souls at the Lucien fire department! And praise be for your safety!
1:08 – I think you found the first bolt of lightning my brain doesn't like. WHY IS IT OFFSET?? Lol. Lightning lost its GPS on the way down.
At 5:30 in the video, you were literally driving right into it… So, you were not “put into any type of position”, (as your caption reads). You put yourself in that position.
