  1. Love your videos
as far as the computer goes i would put it in the $80.00 box ship it back to them then ask for a refund… Then I would go to a local computer store and get a better unit at half the price.
God bless… stay happy and strong

  2. I had issues using hdmi cables before ( I also got 30+yrs in electronics) due to a packaging. It's so easy for a shipment to form a static electricity potential while handling, so first thing users do it just to plug everything in like they used to do but, best way is to equalize potentials first, before using hdmi connections, by shortcutting metal parts of units you are trying to hook up, basically to ground up all together using a piece of copper wire to discharge to same electric potential. It takes only few seconds. Just don't put wire into sockets of any kind, just lean it to exposed parts of a monitor (socket screws for ex.) and PC frame. Your system might suffered same issue while hooking it all together so I hope this advice will help you with new one.
Btw, best and safest connections in terms of static are galvanic separated like optical cable but it's not widely available and has some hardware issues as well. HDMI cables are flawed by design.

  3. Sam, I know exactly what youre going through. I am just about at the end hopefully of a two month ordeal with apple. I have thier premium computers and when they go south………….they are gone.At the end of it all I had to update two computers, a mac pro desktop and a mac mini. Today was hopefully my last trip to the apple store for support, the gal thier figured out the problems, Yah!!! countless hours on the phone support and miles of driving back and forth to the apple store, & trips at 100 kilometers each. I feel your pain!

  4. Sorry you have to go through this BS. Of course, they will say you broken it. Who is this computer company so we don't go through this BS.
And if they are watching this video, shame on you for taking advantage of this young lady who is just trying to run her business.
Sam, I hope all works out for you.
    Aloha from The Big Island🤙🏼

  5. renovation time ! the plug and play units can sometimes be , just that you unplug the broken part and plug in the replacement part . Thes big machines are made to hold up and do the big stuff . Ever looked at a small edit company? You have crossed the line to DO THE STUFF BETTER and RIGHT !! Ok , you had a fiat dump truck… now you have a MACK dump truck ,get it . !! good luck , waiting for you up dates !

  6. Hello, I love watching your videos. But I can't speak English. You would also have to unlock your subtitle in German please.
    Unlock also for German.
    Thanks in advance.

  7. Hang in there Sam. It is super frustrating when a company gives you a hard time after spending so much for what was supposed to be high quality! They should be giving you alot of the money you paid them back.

  8. I used to be a computer graphics guru and stepped away from high tech 12 years ago which is an eternity w computers … intermittent power supply or hard drive issues my guess. Poor quality control… reloading operating system is problem as well to solve issues but very complicated usually…

  9. I get that you are a bit over your head but you went enthusiast for your PC, and dollar store for your monitor and keyboard. Prebuilt PC’s are usually bad news regardless of budget and vendor. Might want to check out a few channels, GamersNexus done a few great videos on how much Starforge and those types of companies fvck everything up🤣. Hope it works out for you.

  10. I would suggest seeing if there is a Micro Center near or within reasonable driving distance to you. Don't know if your planning to get a new PC or wait for that one to come back, etc. But the folks at Micro Center can help you out with all your needs. I personally have not purchased a proprietary system since 2000 and have built probably 10-15 PC's for myself and kids based on what our needs have been over the years and what you are experiencing is the exact reason why I build them.

  11. Hi Sam! If the computer sometimes starts and sometimes does not, it is possible that the computer is not faulty and the monitor is not faulty. This error can occur if both devices are over-conserving power (which is beyond the user's control). In this case, if the computer does not detect the monitor within a few seconds of powering on, or the monitor does not detect the computer, then the computer will not produce an image and the monitor will not display anything, and the user will think that the computer is not working. A similar error can occur if the computer has more than one video output and the monitor has more than one video input. You can improve the situation by connecting the two devices with a Display Port cable (instead of an HDMI cable), as newer devices usually have a Display Port connector as well. I agree with the service department that if such an error occurs, the monitor may be the cause of the apparent error in the first place. I wrote all this based on my own experience, it took me a while to understand what the problem might be, in my case using the Display Port cable cleared the fault.

  12. It looks like you bought a gaming computer. Just try to get your money back. There is a woman who travels the world on her motorbike and she puts out daily video's with a laptop. That is all you need.

  13. It probably worked fine when they built it. Then they shoved instpak into the tower and it smashed into the GPU & mother board.

I troubleshoot just about anything electrical/mechanical and the first thing I look for is the standard environment & variables. If something works on and off I look for something that changes in the environment along with this. Almost always with electronics it has to do with temperature or vibration. In your case I would imagine your room temperature fluctuated enough at different times to cause the electronics to expand and contract. The tower may be next to a floor vent that blows tempered air by it. When it's warmer the electronics may expand and make better contact vs colder temperature when they contract and expose contact problems. Good technicians carry around a can of electronics freeze spray to cool down PC boards which will expose broken solder joints or damaged components. Your basically replicating a colder environment to make the fault appear for diagnosis. It's much easier than having to replace parts using trial and error or using a meter to hunt for voltage problems. 10 seconds and you can diagnose a bad board.

My money goes on a damaged mother board due to the packing process. It's too bad you didn't have someone to help you figure it out before dealing with the manufacturer. I worked for Compaq technical support out of high school and they would hire anyone who walked off the street. 2 weeks of classes and you were on the phones telling people what was wrong with the junk computer they just got for Christmas haha! I'm guessing that's who you were talking to as well. Someone putting your computers symptoms into a data base then reading u the words off their screen.

And I tend to agree with everyone else's comments on what you paid. I just built two gaming rigs with RTX graphics cards like yours fully decked out case and components for 3k a piece. I also agree with others that if you were going to buy another one you should go to Microcenter. You would not be going through what your going through now and you would have saved 2 grand. See if you can cancel your payment and buy something else. Regardless good luck!

  14. Yea I'm sorry I'm calling 100% bs on this video, would love to see the chat logs for Starforge side pulled on this….I guaranteed she contacted them and they responded right away and then she ghosted them when it started to work said it was fine etc…interesting how you didn't show the chat logs…or any email or anything…its all what she is saying….usually when people do these reviews they actually include proof

  15. I had a friend put a computer together for me for my grandson a gaming PC.
I ordered all the parts from Newegg and Amazon for under $2000 and it’s an incredible PC. Haven’t had the first problem with it.

  16. Buy direct from Dell! Dell has resources to help build a system that meets your needs. Other, I like watching you solving problems, experiencing new situations and developing skills. I heard your dad one time tell you "just slow down, don't get flustered and take it one step at a time"…something to that effect. Good advice!
