I do consider myself as someone who can at least do some variants of the tech but I really hate water physics in this game… It's just.. slow, especially when getting hit, it's just take ages to get back to the ground
I think i would rather switch to the gold glider. Yes i lose water speed and miniturbo, but it get not just weight but also ground speed (good for comebacks) and invincibility. The first unit of invincibility has the largest impact on your invincibility duration, so it matters similary to that extra unit of weight

Video Idea: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, but I only take the slowest routes in the race.
You can take optimal lines around corners, but for example in sunshine airport, you take the boost through the plane instead of dropping below it. I think you're good enough to still win 🙂
