Is the #Metaverse already outdated? As previously discussed, the term has been in use since at least 1992.
Media corporation, #Outside Inc., had an announcement this week about its Outerverse platform—in their words: an #anti-Metaverse. The point of this anti-Metaverse is to encourage you to go outdoors and live more #sustainably. Then, essentially, you’re #rewarded for doing so.
If we start using different terminologies, we could create better, more defined spaces. Companies can be more in tune with one another, encouraging niche #interoperability mechanisms.
