Started at D1 launch with a bunch of friends and played D2 on release on and off due to other obligations that left me without internet. After lightfall I decided to never play again. Destiny just never seemed to be able to get itself together.
Dude I just wanna say from the bottom of my heart, in my opinion that you're one the most charismatic Destiny content creator that we have around and you can play any game you want and you'll still be able to make super fun to watch, keep doing what you're doing and everything will always be fine. 😌
Kind of amusing that most companies, especially tech companies, are laying people off, but this is the one that seems to really be triggering people.

If you were to go to Google trans, you’d be making a mistake assuming it means anything at all first of all Google trends doesn’t have shit to do with popularity. Google trends literally means the game doesn’t explain itself searches on Google for things relating to a game or generally because in the game, the person doesn’t know what the fuck they’re doing and they’re trying to find some help, so what trend really can show you is if you’re already know the game is popular and you’re searching Google trends and it’s got way more searches than other games of its type. It’s because the game doesn’t explain itself very well and you need you know help from wiki or wherever to get through shit What it isn’t though is an indicator of popularity because unfortunately, I mean OK if you go to Google and search and there’s nothing on Google about it then you can probably be sure it’s not very popular but when you go to Google trends and you find a bunch of searches and the numbers are high, it’s a real high chartthat doesn’t mean the game necessarily but there’s no way for you to know but what it does almost certainly legitimately mean is that people are clueless and they’re trying to find answers
The only thing that you can use legitimately to judge a game popularity is Steve chart numbers and then you have to kind of extrapolate for how many platforms it’s on because it’s quite likely going to be just as good on consoles overall as it is on steam if it’s on, epic as well, it may not be as good because steam is more popular But when you can launch it only from steam and Xbox you pretty much can assume that it’s going to be about the same in every place but the only thing you know for sure is how many people played it in the highest feet concert hour and how many people are playing it right now unless you wanna go bit by bit through the chart and grab some numbers from the last day and add them all up and then you can kind of get a rough idea of how many people played it in the last 24 hoursbeyond that you don’t know shit and Google trends ain’t gonna tell it to you

i actually can't stomach logging into destiny 2 anymore… im just not interested in bite sized tiny pieces of content anymore.Its literally designed to burn me out on the same old garbage over and over. Nothing of it is memorable anymore.
I've been playing PoE and Destiny for over a decade now. They have been the most consistent games in my life. Yet now, i find myself playing neither nearly as much, if at all in the case of destiny.
Maybe it's me entering the workforce or growing up. However, I believe it's apathy. For both games, I just haven't been having as much fun. However, unlike Destinys sequel, PoEs seems to be massively improving and changing the game up.
Barring any massive issues, i have already found my new game and will simply wait until the. I do not, however, know if i will return for post final shape content or even final shape itself.

People who defend this game are the ones who started playing pretty recently.. .all of us who played this game from beta in Destiny 1 and for 9 years have moved on for the most part. I don't hate them, I don't like them, I just don''t care. They ruined it with terrible story, filler content, the story pay off after 9 years has been dissapointing to say the least and it's just a never ending loop of the same crap. The game had a good run. You can only milk the same game for 10 years for so long.
