Piece of advice. Start a task and finish it. Then start the next task. You tend to chase to many squirrels and you get totally side tracked.
If you lose your ATV then look at the map
Can you save again yet?
Too many tough choices in Mechanics! You're doing fine – probably can hold off on the Rover for a bit longer. The game really stops being a challenge once you make it anyways
Also enjoying the blimp game.. must also be nice for you to play something else, then dive back into the madman😅.
The ATV that you build is faster & better isn't it?
Don't think you found the blueprint for medium solar panels yet
Great stuff! Crisis averted. I hope you learnt your lesson young man? To be fair, it’s so easily done. I think the double workshops looks great – one for workbenches and one for planting maybe? The workbenches are pretty expensive on power – 10 for each I think – so hope you get the medium solar panels soon. Don’t build anything but wells on the water area is my advice. Once you build domes and have all the various plants in them, the water demand goes sky high so you need more and more wells, tanks and pumps. Keep the capsule side for the base expansion – it’s flatter anyway – and you’ve then got the two water inlets of the workshops with easy access from the well side.
You needed 14 steel plates, had 28 but you made 19 more… ended up with 47. Not a big problem but hey, what's complicated only those things marked red are NOT enough so you need to get (print/scrap) more…
Probably too high workload.
And is there something wrong about scraping? Come on, manufacturing even screws, most basic and common item?
so you can save. I was waiting to hear. I don't think they fixed anything. I think that you just have to sleep/autosave, shut the game completely down, and restart it. It is normally only a temporary issue like a game freeze would usually be
Could you please just build one solar panel, and connect it directly to the port of your second workshop (the new one, where there is yet no connection at all? If it works as i expect, it will just add the production… then, you might build second power "island" (transformer, battery, panels) to better spread and decentralise (for the case of damage) electricity production… you will build second battery soon anyway…
hey pause at 1:08 when you look up there's something hanging in the sky above your base! An ATV?
Doesn't getting the blow torch 2 set one up for grinder 3? I could be wrong as I just got a glance at the tech tree. Great video as always. I was hoping this game stay on your channel.
I can't imagine the coding that it would take to do it but I had visions of you tripping over that power cord between the workshop and the transformer and falling on your face… lol
The spectral detector gives you an indication of what you will get from a rock. The numbers are what you would get if you used the big crusher, but the bigger the number the more you can get even with the hand drill.
I'm glad you caught the potatoes.
I really would have liked seeing a single airlock between the two workshops, but I assume the two will be reassigned to just workbenches/storage later on when you get access to greenhouses and domes.
You should start setting up a second solar farm since you now have a second electricity input. Redundancy never hurts.
And make an extra water and O2 tank.
