Take a tour of my home studio with me, where I walk you through my livestream, video, and audio setup! Here is a list of all the gear that I use.
🟣Video—-
Canon 6D Mark II
This is just the camera body – it will need a lens too. But as I say in the video, there are newer models of this camera!
Canon EF 35mm f/2 Lens
Elgato Cam Link 4k
This is what allows me to use a DSLR camera as a “webcam.” Although webcams have come a long way, they still don’t compare to the quality of a dedicated camera+lens. An HDMI cable connects my camera to the Cam Link and then another cable connects my Cam Link to my computer.
Canon AC Adapter & DC Coupler
Gives my camera constant power.
Elgato Stream Deck
A programmable deck of buttons that can integrate with several programs. I mainly use this to change my scenes in Ecamm Live and to turn on/off my Philips Hue bulbs!
And a handy, dandy tripod!
🟣Audio—-
Shure MV7
Scarlett 2i2 Interface
Elgato Wave Mic Arm Low Profile
🟣Lighting—-
Falcon Eyes RX-818
Nanlite Pavotube
LED Floodlights
🟣Software—-
Mighty Networks, of course!
Ecamm Live
Canva (to create all my graphic overlays and branding)

It is clear Heather has years of experience here. She demystified a ton of setup questions in just 12 mins. Now I have to convince my wife that I need to paint my office wall purple…
Amazing! I've always admired your set-up and how it was…. set up. Thanks for sharing, Heather.
