  1. I just watched all the episodes.
There are negative and positive things.
    Negative:
    1) For someone who has lost her entire family, it is impossible not to go to a psychiatrist/psychologist. It is a severe trauma that in this series was shown to be quite unimportant, except when for the purposes of the plot of the series (for Jackie to like Alex/Cole) it was suddenly very important to remember that all of Jackie's relatives died except for one uncle.
    2) Really? 2 brothers fighting over the same girls twice? And mom and dad didn't notice anything for so long?
    3) The dialogues are completely inappropriate for the age of the actors. And some of the actors are too old to play high schoolers.
    4) Casting is a disaster. How is it possible that 7 sons have different hair colors, eyes, face shape… Their mother is red-haired, they are all black/blonde/brown… Also, Jackie is Latino like her mom, but mom's brother is white? Completely unconvincing.
    Positively:
    1) The image of a large family, especially parents who love and support each other so much, is something wonderful.
    2) The actors (their way of acting) are very believable and do a great job.
    3) I like the parts of the supporting characters like Will, Tara and the parents of the Walter family.
    4) Beautiful scenography.
All in all, this isn't the best series you'll watch in your life, and if there wasn't a second season, I wouldn't be too sorry. Jackie on the plane sounds like the best possible ending to the series, but I'm sure we'll see another season and Jackie will choose Cole in the end, which is completely insane and stupid and has nothing to do with the real world.

  2. Binged watched this last night and it definitely gave me ”The Summer I turned Pretty” vibes, but with an extra kick. I will say it was pretty good but too predictable. I did however enjoy the music choices though.

  3. Dull boring and race baiting. White girl shown in very negative light jealous of dark skinned, smug elitist, fashion conscious brown girl. What will the Obamas do next to get people angry with each other over skin color. It's called race baiting and they're experts. I find Netflix has sunk to new levels. It use to have interesting and deep programming but now it's just a place for perverse, reverse racism…. how sad.

  4. I'm giving up Netflix. It's become a place for inciting anger based on race baiting. The white always bad themes are just pathetic. It became this way after the Obamas took over and to think I voted for the guy twice…. how naive I was.

  7. I personally loved the series. But I wish they would do a series where it’s about a guy who falls for two girls. Because they always make the woman look like she doesn’t know who she really wants. And that makes men look down on women!
But overall I loved it 🥰!!!
