  1. Oh my god I swear, this is such an awesome collection! And I'm so so flattered that you did this VR ^^ Don't mind me commenting on almost every deck haha. Thank you read more button.

–Bosch is TOTALLY goth. One of the original freaks. That triptych inspired box is neat too 👀
–"You don't have to be Edgar Allen Poe to be goth" preach
–I like the art and the vibe of the Dark Woods Tarot, totally goth for sure, but I agree that I think the art/cards should be bigger. The art was clearly drawn on a bigger scale so when they're sized to the cards the lines look so thin and I can't fully appreciate it, you know? Love those colors though, very Black Cauldron. And "we've got some upside-downies" xD love
–Moon Power tarot! Completely agree. This is the sort of "modern people" deck I can get with, I'm kinda over the like… "RWS but they're holding cell phones!" decks. This one's been on and off my list for a long time and honestly I think it's just that when it's been on I haven't had the money for another deck 😛
–The Love and Mystery deck is just your intro xD That court card with the pink and black checkerboard, like yeah, that's the vibes. I don't watch a lot of cyberpunk anime, I'm a boring shoujo bitch haha. But have you ever seen the Japanese animated movie Paprika? Love that, and it's got the vibes!
–Stunning tarot feels very Siouxsie "Kiss them for me". Ancient Egyptian elements are definitely present in goth, I mean the ankh is a whole thing.
–Lol you literally said ^ the exact same thing in talking about the Sacred Symbols oracle xD
–SLUTIST TAROT I'm so glad you have this one and included it!!! So punk! So goth! The ink and marker is also so DIY
–Outgrow Yourself another one I'm constantly tempted with! I'm really eyeing those magic super oracle cards, so cool, so punk
–I just looked up the Caitlin Madison after watching another video of yours and it's sooo cool, so pretty!
–If you need any justification that Mary-El is goth, it's that Hierophant card
–"Miscellaneous, because I'm sooo creative" I love you xD
–Gentle Thrills tarot HOW HAVE I NEVER SEEN THAT! That is so cool, I love the crazy patterns and the lower lashes and the early 90s-ass colors! Uggggh I swore I wasn't going to get another deck right now I can't afford this shit but wowwww
–Things that feel goth/punk now even if not at the time, that's such a good way to describe it

This was such a fun video to watch ^^ thank you again! You're rad!

  2. I so enjoy listening to you talk about your decks. I love your perspective. I’m wondering if you’ve seen Meg’s recent video on the Tiger Tarot, and if you have it, or plan to get it? I recently got it and it’s so beautiful, but also challenging in many ways. I’d love to see you do a review of that deck, and get your take on the imagery.

  3. I get what you’re saying about Tarot of Vampyres. I too love vampires, but struggle to connect with that deck (even though I do find the art beautiful, if not deliciously campy sometimes). Vampires represent many things: unrestrained sexuality, the double edged sword of immortality, loneliness and isolation, feeling damned and cursed, acceptance of your destructive sides, etc. The vampire decks I’ve seen are great at showcasing the sexual side, but I’m mainly drawn to them for their isolation and feelings of damnation. What it means to live in a world that seems you a monster. I have yet to see a deck themed around vampires in that way.
