  1. Zef is like South Africa's version of Northern American white trash or chav culture in the UK. It was first used as a derogatory term in the 60-70s, but has since been reclaimed into a counter culture movement. It was popularized by Die Antwoord and YES in their song Enter the Ninja. "My style is UFO, Totally unknown, You can't fuck with my new ZEF flow, I'm hard to miss, You can't do this, you can't do that, Yo, fuckin' who said so? I do what I like, Too hot to handle, Too cold to hold"

"I, I, I,. I am your butterfly, I need your protection, Be my samurai!"

  2. I feel like even tho Pyrrhic Blast is 4 mana, Callous Sell-Swords only targets are Melek, a thopter, or a devil token and the only time it's not 1 mana on melek is if it's not the first spell that turn but it's instant speed so you could cast it on your opponents turn too and it draws a card and gets around removal. The only downside is if you draw it mid turn from a different draw spell and your opponent counters it on there turn after passing.

  3. 18:46 The band you're referencing is Die Antwoord, a South African hip hop group with Ninja and Yolandi Visser. Their aesthetic is called Zef, it's like being poor but having expensive things. They got accused of doing really bad things and disappeared.

  4. Why wasn't this deck playing Pyrrhic Blast? It's another fling, actually counts toward your instant/sorcery count, and costs the same to cast with Melek out. Plus it draws a card.

  5. match 4: I hate discarding a fling, cause our oppo sees it
Oppo shortly before: Looks at hand sees 2 flings
Arena: Gives an eye symbol on both flings

Sometimes i wonder if seth even plays his own games xD

  7. People don't realize how impactful and innovative Pet Sounds was. It directly inspired some of the Beatles' best work.
    From Wikipedia:
"Pet Sounds revolutionized music production and the role of professional record producers, especially through Wilson's pioneering studio-as-instrument praxis. The record contributed to the cultural legitimization of popular music, a greater public appreciation for albums, the popularity of synthesizers, and the development of psychedelic music and progressive/art rock. It also introduced novel approaches to orchestration, chord voicings, and structural harmonies; for example, most of the compositions feature a weak tonal center, rendering their key signatures ambiguous. Although it had been widely revered by industry insiders, the album was obscure to mass audiences before being reissued in the 1990s, after which it topped several critics' and musicians' polls for the best album of all time, including those published by NME, Mojo, Uncut, and The Times. The album has also been consistently ranked number 2 in Rolling Stone's "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time" lists across 2003, 2012, 2020 and 2023."
