Agreed on the food. Very basic. But the show is phenomenal. It’s hard to walk away from the fire dancing part in particular and not love it. The Luau at Aulani has better food, but the show is kinda boring.
It looks good but seriously I don’t know where the prices are coming from to attend, events and show prices in the USA are crazy high compared to everywhere else in the World. Same goes for concerts etc. I really notice this coming from the UK, I think a comparable event would have been about $75 in an equivalent tourist destination in Europe.

The closest that I've been to a luau is The Spirit of Aloha dinner show at The Polynesian.
