  1. I've been assuming that the shadowy figure at the end was the Devil trying to persuade Jin to give in to the hate, like "see, you can't beat him without me, stop resisting my presence, let me in."
    Then again, it seems that Jin magically achieved control of the devil gene during T7 so that theory is probably wrong, specially considering the devil seems more like a genetic mutation than a supernatural entity these days…

We're only a few days away on going into the TWT Finals in Amsterdam, so it won't be long before we get another Tekken 8 trailer, get more Character Reveals, an in-depth talk about the Heat System mechanic, gameplay reveal, possibly a Beta release date, etc. Either way, in a few days it's gonna be super exciting.🔥

  4. It's the camera. In the first trailer – it's Tekken 5 like, zoomed out and kinda panoramic, which imo looks waaay nicer and aesthetically pleasing. In this second trailer, it's back to being zoomed the fuck in again like Tekken 7 which looks way worse.

    18:21 : Too many effects ( Everyone who reacted to the trailer said so ), it does not match with Tekken ! it looks like Yakuza, Final Fantasy etc 😖
    24:05 : Juggle animations are still the same ( since Tekken 1 ! please Bandai Namco we need some fresh animations !! )

  10. Hit the nail on the head. I was disappointed to see they didn't update the animations at all.

    And the Heat BS is really concerning. Is everything going to be a mixup, 50/50 in Tekken 8? What the hell are they doing?

  12. I think it was actually Devil Jin at the beginning not Kazuya, it was more like his Evil Side was telling him to just accept who he is and stop running from it.

  16. I'm thinking that the heat system will be linked to health. Maybe once you reach half health you'll have access to a limited amount of heat to use and maybe it slowly ticks down in a outline in the healthbar. Maybe that's what they mean when they say it's gonna be more aggressive gameplay because once you have access to heat it'll run out unless you take the chance to use it.

I don’t wanna sound negative and tekken is really important to me but this is not tekken, the first trailer got me so hyped to was so tekken but in a very modern way i was really happy but this new trailer got me so worried and wanna my beloved game become like every other stupid childish fighting game out there, there r so many colors and the screen is so busy and crowded with effects. And the heat system is not really cool coz meters for everybody?! Come on!

  24. I agree with you on the Kazuya redeeming himself and saving Jin from the devil gene, but sadly Kazuya isn't the main character of the series, so Jin will be the protagonist, the good guy saving his father :/

  29. I hate how it looks when Jin runs up after spending his heat, then just stops and stands still then does b4. It's like he's just wasting all his momentum and it just looks really dumb, and it's exactly what i think looks so weird and wrong with most meter cancels in other games =/
