Idi Amin ruled Uganda between the years of 1971-1979. His rule was characterised by his brutality and he is responsible for the deaths of several hundred thousands of people. Amin also fathered some 60 children, this documentary follows one of his sons, Jaffar Amin, and looks at his fathers legacy in uganda and what his current role in society is as the son of an infamous evil.

The background music to too much in the foreground and drowning out the narration. It's almost unwatchable!

Interesting documentary. Having lived among a number of African clans between Uganda and Kenyan understand some of the traditions existing. Unsure however the purpose of Jaffah's efforts to atone for his father's actions. Peace between the clans? To what end? As said, history can't be changed. Going forward? What? The Ofumbi family may have reached some peace and closure but, what of the countless families who were affected by Jaffah's father's destructive rule? Not too sure Jaffah and his family would find other Ugandans quite so receptive. The elders of African clans while wizened with age are as well the historians for their clan. The physiological and physical scars from the rule of Idi Amin are a constant presence with the Ugandan people.
