What an incredible mindset. Love the YouTube Sensation!
❤❤🧡🧡💛💛
Praying for a successful surgery and speedy recovery. I'm looking forward to the golf channel. If it's anything like Nile's channel, it should be informative and Hi-larious!
It takes a lot of courage from the both of you to put this online; from your father to discuss what would be a scary time for anyone b/c of the unknown aspects of his upcoming surgical procedure and the implications it has upon his life, and for you, being forced to come to terms w/ the mortality of a parent who must seem larger than life in some aspects, given his athletic prowess and your desire to follow in his footsteps. It's never easy to come to the realization that our parents, often our heroes, are people capable of incurring injury, pain, and illness. When I was one year younger than you, I lost my father to ALS. He had been sick for roughly five years, and to watch him waste away was incredibly difficult, but I believe that it paled in comparison to what he actually experienced. There's nothing easy about any of it for anyone involved, but you do what you're able to in any given moment, and one day, many years from now, you'll be able to look back w/out regret, and simply remember your father for the loving father he was who raised you and Joanna to be the people you are.
Big Love and prayers for you Neil from New Jersey!
Wow, that was a lot of new information for me. Your Dad’s approach to his stroke and now further bleeds with some symptoms is the most revealing about him. You either let it control you or you control it. A great description of the effects of stroke and its signs. We can’t live every day like it’s our last. Enjoy what you have, live your life and be happy! Great way to live!
I love you Nile . Neil I hope the surgery goes amazing keep us updated . I love you Nile
wishing your dad much success and a full recovery
Ok, I’m totally teary eyed now listening to Neil and his outlook on life and how the family inspires him. Beautiful message Neil, stay strong. ❤
he is freaking amazing …
♥
What a fantastic outlook on life and how to deal with an illness. If anyone can beat I’m certain your dad can with sheer willpower alone. If I don’t get the opportunity to say this to him before the surgery, I wish you all the luck in the world for a good outcome and a speedy recovery.
So much love sent to you all!! Neil you are a strong wonderful man and will come through this with flying colors!! Sending love, healing, and calm to all of you there!! 😊💜
My mother was diagnosed with Cavernous angioma after giving birth to me. Despite several strokes and a long recovery (had to learn how to speak again) she lives a full and active life and shows that these kind of brain injuries/complications only define you as much as you let them. Very inspiring to see your Dad's attitude towards the upcoming surgery and hope it goes as smoothly as possible for him!
I wish all the best for you. I am following you from France since 4 years and I love the relationship between you and your dad. It reminds me and my dad. So thank you for everything and all the love on you! ❤️ sorry if there is some mistakes. Good continuation.
All the best what a legend
Wishing you all the best.
I had 2 spinal strokes let’s all get together and make your dads the biggest stroke awareness and fund raiser ever on the planet!!!! Let’s do this together guys!!!!
I’m not a very religious person, but my prayers and thoughts are with Neil and his family 🥺 he’s been such a great dad and a wonderful internet dad to all of us
I loved hearing this story. My dad had an aneurysms about 10 years ago and had a stint placed in, but he doesn't talk about it much. He lost function on his left side at the start, but has it all back now and is very independent now like your dad. Much love to you and your dad! His positivity and love will get him so far in recovery ❤️
Good luck, hope everything goes well. Also, you guys should get in touch with BeardMeatsFood (Leeds area I believe). He lost his Father to a stroke a couple years ago, and it'd be kinda cool to see a World Class Gymnast and a World Class Eater of Foods team up for some World Class Stroke Awareness stuff.
Neil, spot on! Kick that growth’s arse! I couldn’t agree more, about making your brain work in a positive way. I’m 57. At age 50, I was diagnosed with the rare genetic disease Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I’ve a massive amount of things wrong with my body, from head to toe, especially because I wasn’t diagnosed for 50 years. I’ve an AVM in my brain and have had CSF leaks, so I too need to mind my symptoms. But I refuse to lay myself down in a pine box prematurely! Feck that! I’ll keep you, Nile, and your family and your surgical team in my prayers. You’ve got this! 💪🏻❤️🏌️
He hasn't lost his sense of humor. Hoping all goes well for Neil
Your a strong man bro! Proud of you!!!! 😀

I wanted to reach out…I am at a 80% and above chance of a stroke due to excessively high fluid on and within my brain, they call it a pusedotumor. So I suffer with the same symptoms of a brain tumor. It's scary isn't it, but your mindset is inspiring. The numbness and tingling is what I have, with drastic pain all over my head, like it's been frozen and it just tingles and goes numb, and I lose my vision and at risk of losing it all together. But thank you for sharing your story! You are inspiring to keep going and take it on the chin and keep going.
❤️❤️❤️
This video made me quite emotional because they thought my mum had a stroke and they found cancer. I am so glad that they can do something about this and will be keeping you all in my prayers. Thank you for being so open <3
I was a fan of Neil Wilson before I was a fan of Ash, Jay and Luke. He’s such a great funny man and I wish you all the best
Massive amounts of good luck for the surgery Neil and we can’t wait to see you annihilating Nile on the golf course again soon 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I know this isent entirely relevant but I had functioning neurological disorder meaning my brain pain signals don’t communicate properly similarly to yours and I’m currently doing 30 hours of sport a week so I can sympathise a bit on how painful it can be and hard it is to just carry on my mum also had fybromayalgia witch is the same so I’ve been her career for 10 years and it’s definitely how you look at it and your outlook on life
Absolutely inspiring! You will beat this!
I am so sorry for your bump in the road Mr. Wilson. The percentages are off (at times) from the doctors. You have proven that! You are a strong, athletic, determined man that knows how to battle through this and that's what matters the most! 🙏🙏🙏#3xcancersurvivor
Lots of love and prayers for you Nile as your dad goes through this.
Get well soon Neil ❤ thinking of you and your family – I have no doubt all of you will go from strength gth to strength in 2023 and for many years beyond.
Hope he gets better and feels a lot stronger after the surgery ❤
Your mindset is incredible. I can’t wait for your Neil and Nile golf vlogs soon hopefully 🎉💙
This was a deep video. Sending you and your family some extra love.
My best friend had an issue with her cavernoma a few years ago. The surgery helped her so much!
I truly understand. Want to share with Neil but feel this is too public a forum
I have 2 cavernomas in my brain.
Much love xxxx
Best wishes for a successful procedure and quick recovery 😊
Hugs and prayers going out to the entire family, Neil is such a great man and father, hoping for all the best for him. I never had a stroke, 63 yr old diabetic with sever neuropathy in both legs and feet, I understand the having numbness but still being able to walk. Recently I had an ulcer on the bottom of my left toe where I had a callus, (first ever sore) when the doctor had to cut all the skin off the callus, I never felt a thing.
Love ya Neil! You are so strong. Best wishes!!
Sending all my healing love. Good luck Neil.
Neil good luck with the surgery.
Sending love and positivity your way!
I’m looking forward to the golf YouTube! When’s that coming?
Neil you are a true inspiration keep on fighting. Listening to you has made me realise how much I had given up and I'm determined to stand up and battle my illnesses with the same positivity and quiet dignity you have. Love you all and merry Xmas ❤
