I like your style man
What I’m hearing is “he who tries to go cheap ends up buying twice.”
I've got that brake tool you showed, very handy if you deal with cars with drum brakes. There are several tools to deal with all the springs and things available. There are many grades of pad/shoe materials and they have edge codes that help you determine how well they will stop hot and cold. I think they are E, F, and G and there are two first is cold, second is hot. The last pads I put in sisters 300m were rated FF and stop way better than the OEM pads the dealer had installed. The higher letter the more aggressive they stop. It's usually on the edge of the pad or on the back side.
💯
I see that for you to finish the brake job you had to “Get In The Zone”. Lol
JT junk or retire the PT Cruiser and daily drive a charger/challenger RT
I would like to tell you that I am a huge fan of your channel, your advice, and the information you provide to your audience. I follow all the news from overseas. Could you tell us why you said this at the end of both? As advised you tell me not to unpack the two together, do you mean in terms of making sure of the installation and conformity of the product, or is there something else possible? Please tell us about it, thank you again
That's the first time I've seen an aftermarket shoe which didn't have that piece. What garbage!
Live and learn
FYI use a C-Clamp and a socket to press the brake shoe pin out and back in. Keep up the good work!
all the brakes i done the new shoes come with the an cores
Man I feel old I bought a snap on brake tool pliers back in 75 😮
I personally think the only reason aftermarket don't come with certain stuff that OEM does is bc aftermarket is designed for multiple vehicle applications that are similar. OEM is designed for that specific vehicle.
The first aftermarket set had the pins in them! You even could see them when you opened the box in your other video! You were trying to put two of the shoes without the pin on the same side….🤦🏼♂️
