  1. Great Video! I like it that you value the cutlass black and red. I personaly love the black and blue and have them in my fleet… The black is my small freighter and the blue is my "go out and enjoy pyro Things" ship

  2. If I could do it all again I would spend 300 and buy a cutlas black and hornet f7c mk2 or f7 ghost mk2.

F7 hornet for combat as that is my favorite loop. Cutlass for bunker running, light cargo, small multi-crew etc.

But I'm in too deep for that now, looking forward to this game continuing to grow and mature!

  3. I have been slowly dropping small amouns of money into my hangar for years now, a 5 or 10 a month. Now, I melted my whole fleet (except f7a) and bought my dream ship, the Perseus. Rumor has it it might drop in a few months, at the Invictus. Hopefully it will be more usable than a Polaris. And hopefully they sort out the flight model as well. 😂

  4. The InfoRunners always say “Buy big, and earn down”. Which makes sense, but starting out with the Cutter when it was first launched was a great way to explore the game. And it worked it CIG’s favour as now I’m at concierge level without even thinking about it. I value flexibility in my ships, and I tend towards industrial game loops. I’m pretty covered now from small to large, and not sure I want a capital ship. I like the logic of your choices! Another nice vid.

  5. You have some nice picks.
I started as a cargo hauler, but tasted blood in bounty hunting and bunker missions. So I fly mostly with a F8C or Guardian – about the guardian I don't know if I keep it.
Made all my money in 4.0 with mercanary and bounty hunter missions – I just hope, that will work better with the next patch 😅

    Fly save!

  6. Nice video. Personally for under $100, I prefer the Nomad starter as it can do almost everything, except combat. Toss in a ROC for mining, complete all the starter cargo runs (with its 24 scu of cargo – it now also has a tractor beam). Quick and easy way to earn money for you to purchase a fighter in game. Once you go above $100, I agree the Vulture is a nice way to make money fast.

  7. rather than buying ships that are likely to end up being frustratingly nerfed or forgotten, why not recommend just the titan which cost considerably less than $100 and be done with it. titan has enough going for it to buy any other ship in game in very little time. there are other similarly priced ships beside the titan that work as well depending on personal preferences…

  8. One thing to note about Cutlass ships is that it can't fit in other ships, such as the Polaris which limits its effectiveness.
Also there is a lot of ground vehicles that can't fit in the Avenger Titan.
For me I prefer ships that I can take with me as apposed to going back home constantly to get things.

With the Mirai pulse while it is small, it doesn't have shields nor can you change its weapon unlike other hoverbikes.

  9. I hear you about the Polaris. I still have a CCU chain set up for one (On the cheap no less!) but even though I'm part of a rather large org I can't see myself pulling it out unless for major combat events, like Save Stanton or the like. Even then the upkeep is rather large. Since I have an 890 that I'll never part with (Kinda hard to be part of the Jump Club without one, LOL), that's already going to strain my personal logistics with the rest of the fleet.

  10. I like your list. My fleet is (1) the F7A Hornet Mk II, (2) the Corsair, (3) the Starlancer MAX, (4) the Vulture, (5) the Intrepid. I bought a CCU upgrade from the Corsair to the Guardian QI, but I just can't get myself to sacrifice my Corsair for the Guardian QI. The Corsair was my favorite ship until they nerfed it, but even though the Starlancer MAX is now my favorite ship – I just can't let the Corsair go.

  11. if you are going to spend $600 or more. BANU MERCHANTMAN. And I say $600 because there have been, and probably will be, many opportunities to get it with a -$50 CCU.
this fills the following checkboxes: Luxury, Large cargo, capital, big guns, carries a full size fighter, Med Beds. 99+% chance of carrying Tonks, Multicrew.
If you are going to spend more. Get your fighter of choice, we will have to see, but given the Polaris, expect it to carry a Prospector, if you swing that way.
I would then add a Tali Bomber.

  12. Great vid wish I had watched something like this when first starting out a year ago. One option you could swap out the SMAX for a Starfarer from the Vulcan loaner it's only $200 and you get more cargo space, more range and HP

  13. I agree about the polaris, I got it and kinda don't really care much for it now however, I decided to run my vulture with it and have been having a blast! can't wait to finally fill it all up with scrap lol just a fun little loop I made for myself haha

  14. I have the Polaris because I bought the Kraken, and they haven't released the Kraken yet… crickets Oh, come on. That was kinda funny!

Anyway, I actually love the Polaris. And am thinking I'll probably get one (ccu only). And I'm primarily a solo player. This works fantastic as a mobile base and pocket carrier. Including carrying the Vulture. So, pack everything you need for a week or so, head out to the asteroids, and camp. From there you can run all sorts of missions now that you can spot your ship from anywhere.

And lets face it. There is currently no bigger flex than to use your Polaris to run box-missions.

  15. Having some different ships to open up game loops is the most important thing in a fleet in my opinion, something as big as a polaris shouldnt be something someone should concider around 1000$ maybe if the fleet value is at 1500-2000, i really like my polaris but even with a descend fleet its something i would never have bought even for the old price of 750 the fact that you need at least 5 players to somewhat crew it is rather high and with engineering we should consider probably 10+ players to use it so that money is way better invested in a couple other ships for smaller fleets and depending on who you talk to people take the taurus over the andromeda for combat because the snub at the back can be a weakspot that destroys your powerplant when it blows up

  16. Less than $100 – Nomad wins. Best cargo capacity. Nearly the same DPS as the Titan with better shielding. Has a tractor turret to make the cargo missions painless. Its fast, and it has a great interior with one of the best post-MFD rework cockpits.

  17. I've actually been having a blast in the Polaris. And I really think it comes down to if you have the right group of people to play with it. Solo it is absolutely not fun at all. Good video, I'm going to check out your other ones.
