I’m 63 and didn’t have a relationship with my father, when you said you saw a son and dad hugging in Pandora living a dream it really triggered me emotionally. So much to see at AK, at night it looks spectacular.
Seeing the Magic through other people is amazing. My next trip will be this December of’23. I’ll be taking a friend and her granddaughter who will have just turned 9. Can’t wait to she her reaction to the magic

I was a DAK CM so many years ago and I still love how the park has changed and all the vegetation has matured. Going to Nomad Lounge and sitting outside (when the weather is not so stinking hot) and having a cold beverage and a light meal just chillaxing is one of life's great pleasures…🥰

AK is such a different park from the others that it allows the guest to relax in all the nature, real or fake. Agreed about Planet Watch being bizarre and out of place.

I agree the area of Hollywood on PARIS DL is such of disappointment and yes Animal Kingdom is a close 2nd one!
Tree of Life is getting some needed love-in prep for Animal Kingdoms 25th on Earth Day this year-so most of the trails around the Tree are closed. Rafiki's Planet Watch/Conservation Station, is actually really interesting IF the vets are doing health checks/procedures on the Animal Kingdom residents. I've seen some amazing work being done on tigers and lions, as well as birds and more. There are/were some sensory booths/rooms, where it gets dark and you hear the sounds of the rainforest all around you. The whole place has a real original EPCOT Center feel focusing on edutainment. It's hit or miss back there, and generally will only go on a weekday morning. That's when there seems to be the most activity. Otherwise, it's just a great place to take a train ride and get away from the crowds on a busy day. Kinda like a Tom Sawyer Island vibe.
I oh-so enjoyed seeing your reaction to the Tree of Life and Pandora. As a WDW local, it’s great to see the park thru a fresh pair of eyes. Rafaki’s definitely needs some work but I think it has a lot of potential.
Conservation Station is a great place for littles. I can see why you didn't connect with it, but if you ever have a kid with you, it will be a lot of fun for them to run around, pet a goat, and be a kid in.
We love WDW world with Brickey. Super fun Vlog. Can’t wait to see what park we visit next.

The expedition Everest is one of my favorite rides, I remember watching you last year, and how sick you got, and tough to be a bug was so exciting to watch again after it had been removed from DCA, my son and I were over the moon to watch it and how exciting it was to relive that, enjoying all your videos. Keep up the good work.
You took the train but missed the hospital and the animals?
I always heard Animal Kingdom is a “half day park” I don’t believe that that park looks amazing. I’ll be in there for hours looking all the detail. No need to go on any rides! Someday I’ll go there

Yaaaas so glad you had time to discover DAK – there’s so much fabulous detail & immersed ambience here – at night gives a whole new vibe as well – the subtle lighting is superb! There’s one area where a mama can be heard singing to her crying baby in an “upstairs” room – it’s so cool.
Of all the WDW Parks, Animal Kingdom has been my mystery bonus pick… I’d go if I had the time and resources but not essential.
After this video, I’m in. All in.

Point abt cast doors being hidden made me remember a trip to Galaxy’s edge West, during which my daughter & I stopped after dark for a snack on a little wall to soak in the cool sounds. Happened to be by the very large cast door, which so many people mistook for the restrooms. Funny how they hide the restrooms very well in GE, but the cast door is out & very obvious! Could’ve taken a page from AK 🙂
One of the things I like about Pandora is the soundscape, especially the water. It's a land you need to visit during the day and at night. Everything lit up is amazing, too.

There is a huge circle around the tree with small paths that offshoot. Several Passover bridges. The safari area alone is as big as the magic kingdom. It’s a huge park. The conservation station you didn’t like is where the veterinarians are the art class the petting zoo and there used to be more hands on back there when it opened.
It’s a different park experience definitely not all about the rides. Everest flight of passage and dinosaur are the big 3. They need the Nemo show back and to figure out a night water show. They just can’t seem to get that done right.
Love just walking around Pandora ♡ It is one of my favorite themed lands (although Na"vi River Journey Needs SOMETHING)
Animal Kingdom is a stunning park and you captured it beautifully. Loved the music choice- really happy you got to take your time and be a wanderer – your true love. The Imagineers knocked it out of the park with AK. ❤
