  1. I’m overwhelmed by all the lovely comments of support. Thank you all so much. Thank you to those of you who have suggested a GoFundMe page for medical bills, but I live in the UK so I don’t have medical bills (NHS). I’m not going to name the photographer who instigated legal action. While she caused me a lot of mental anguish, I don’t want to put her in any position where she’s victimised. There’s two sides to every story and kindness is always the only productive way forward.

  2. What a s**t hand you have been dealt lately. We all need to curl up and shut the world out sometimes. We protect ourselves, recover, rebuild and come out to face the world again. Good luck with the op. and stay strong, we are all behind you.

  3. Jamie, so sorry to hear that you have had to face these scary and frustrating challenges. I would like you to know that I have always highly regarded your posts and often referenced them to my A level photography classes. It makes me so disappointed that someone would seek to target someone like yourself. Thank you Jamie for producing this informative, wholesome and honest work. (And graphically sweet!).

  6. I enjoyed this video in the way I enjoy all your thought provoking work. Why “enjoyed”? Because you are an absolute master at putting together short films to help and educate people about something that is helpful and important to you. I am so pleased you have used your skill to help us all to really understand what you have been going through. Thus I simply want to add my own voice to the outpouring of compassion and support you have from your followers who have such great respect for your talent. Very best wishes.

  8. You tell stories like no other YouTuber Jamie, sharing your situation is so generous and honest. I love your graphics and the way your words wrap around the visuals. I have a feeling you were moving west, hey I'm not sure how I could help but I am here if it's needed. After 35 plus years in the BS pcode I know a fair few people and it's a great community here.

  9. Hey Jamie, welcome back. I'm very sorry your going after all this. That photographer will get what she deserves in life. What I am going to mention is my best wishes to your health. I really hope the surgery goes great, whenever it comes, and you get better as soon as possible, and as fast as possible. As many others have mentioned: you're one of my favourite youtubers, and as soon as I see you have uploaded something new I just stop what I'm doing and watch it right away. Get better. Best wishes from Spain.

  10. So pleased you uploaded this video Jamie. I really hope you soon get your good health pal. This video has helped me today as I suffer mental health issue's that has stopped me from picking up my camera and being creative for most of this year, but tomorrow I will go out with my camera in hand because of this video. Looking forward to your next video too what ever it may be and when ever you feel like producing it, always so informative. Thank you.

  12. I am diagnosed with depression. Sometimes when everything is falling apart and life sucks, I "do". I take my camera and I take pictures. I don't "create", I just "do". Somehow it keeps me going. After a while (or after a longer period of time) I can "create" again instead of "doing" and enjoy it again.
We are all different, and I hope you find your way of surviving. As long as you are breathing there is hope of something better.

  13. Sorry to hear about your mental and physical health. This was another great video and another testament of your talent! My company was threatened legally quite a few times by copyright patent trolls so I hear your pain. Like you well put it, it is not about defending rights, it is exclusively about legal sharks making money.
