  2. Oil slick foils are only in the compleat bundles. Product does not come out until next month but content creators that get early access from wizards open these on cam and sell them online. Right now people are waiting until release banking that the prices of these oil slick singles go down considerably once more supply hits the market.

  3. Overall, this is a good set. The Atraxa card is around $35.00. I heard that there were 24 versions of the Elesh Norn card. I am not sure about the pricing though. The first box was good while the 2nd box was terrible. If you are paying premium prices for the collector boxes, you need to get more value out of them. In most cases, Wizards does not. It's still early and the prices of these may go down as more boxes get opened. I think those black and white sketch cards looks like TRASH. They are like the GARBAGE sketch cards that came out in Modern Horizons 2. Nobody asked for these type of cards. Wizards needs to reduce the number of all of the different versions of cards. It is getting ridiculous.

  4. Hey idk if somebody else already said it, but don't rub the step and complete foils (the ones with the symbols all over it) bc theyre actually pretty easy to rub off, the ones you did should be fine though bc you didn't seem to apply too much pressure

  5. The phyrexian lands are very nice. And the, what do you think? Phyrexian Foil? Oil Foil? Infect Foil? Whatever. Those are sexy! Dammit hasbro. I might have to buy a collector box or 3.

  6. So many double taps per pack! Rudy not calling it out but complains about so many versions while hyping other TCG's like MetaZoo that has different holo types, etc and leaves them alone.

  7. The foiling is called "Step-and-Compleat". Oil slick can only be gotten in Compleat Bundles, which the market has been very bullish on. They were base price for about 80 but they are selling for 120-150.

The step-and-complete is the best slot for value unsurprisingly. The top picks in order are:

    1. Junji Ito MoM
    2. Phyrexian text MoM
    3. Concept praetor MoM
    4. Atraxa
    5. Sheoldred
    6. Vorinclex
    7. Mondrak
    8. Vraska
    8. Gin-Gitaxias
    9. Obliterator
    10. Phyrexian text Vraska

Outside of step-and-compleat, the overwhelming value winners are MoM, Mondrak, and the concept praetors (aside from poor Urabrask)

The chase rares are Venerated Rotpriest and Mycosynth Gardens.

Nahiri and especially Lukka are the market rejected clunker mythics. Everything else is quite solid.

  9. I had fun watching this. But I just wish… there were fewer variants. Because I can't get excited about any of them when there are so… many of them. It's going to be even harder to track what's on the other side of the table from me like that.

  11. The Oil Slick foils are only in the Compleat edition bundle coming out soon. The ones you’ve been seeing in the collector packs with the phyrexian symbol all over it are called Step-and-Compleat foil. The Oil Slick variants will be worth more because they’re also textured with exclusive artwork, but the Step-and-Compleat foils of the most desirable cards are definitely the best thing you can find in collector boxes. Between the Norn and Mondrak you pulled, that’s like $170 alone.

  12. Am I the only one who doesn't understand the special foiling for the common/uncommons? They're worth nothing and no one seems to want them. Similar to baulders gate with the etched foils for common/uncommon
