Let’s be honest, 2024 round base is going to suck. It’s gonna be the smallest zombies maps like Cold War and way too open and where u can climb anything and jump over almost anything and exfil. They’ll never return the overall ambiance, hard tight corner adrenaline running map layouts and original 4 hits ur down like bo1-bo3. Everything is catered down to be beginner friendly. Idky yall tryna get hyped for 2024 zombies. The only lively thing to play now to really enjoy zombies other than booting up the old treyarch games is custom zombies that’s it
Tbh I bought mw3 for zombies and the last cod I purchased was mw1 but did not play it much(only did becouse of my friends insisting) and is sad to hear this kind of news and really hope that they dont jus abandon mwz

I'm losing my patience with Zombies lately. It feels like the zombies community has been royally shafted by activision. We've had no original maps for zombies for the last 6 years and it's getting beyond a joke now. I've had more fun playing helldivers 2 than the past 3 years for zombies.
i already gave up on this game mode its just a shame what they are doing to the zombies community it was a mistake buying this game for zombies but i won't make the same mistake again and next cod they will stop support it in season one or before its just a shame always treat zombies community like garbage

Believe it or not i went back to playing vanguard. Im over mwz… I also went back to bo3 and cold war. Vanguard is good right now because i didnt play it much. Graphics look great and its round based. Crazy how shitty mwz has gotten in one month that im going back to playing vanguard of all games…..
season 2 isnt disappointing. its a slap to the face to all loyal players.
The problem is them releasing a game every year. Releasing a game that's not complete and promising they will fix it, just to start focusing on the new game.

Seems like some misunderstanding on what those rift gate items are, based on the post it honestly just looks like they're gonna provide alternate types of sigils that allows you to load into a rift with specific gameplay modifiers on (not much different from what destiny 2 did almost forever ago with an item to allow you to choose nightfall modifiers)
Sadly there hasn't been a good (decently supported post launch) zombies since cold war and it's a damn atrocity, especially since this mode had so much promise and the developers could've capitalized on it and changed how all new zombie games are made but instead they've gone the route of absolute neglect and put the cries of the community thats playing their game on mute
