PvPvE will cause players to leave the game. Think the Division Dark Zones and Red Dead Redemption Online.

The only way I see future call of duty titles getting the resources needed to make them is by increasing the time of each season from 54 days to 90 with more content which would help players appreciate what comes next season. It would free up resources and time needed.
The 3 major studios that being treyarch, IW and sledgehammer would need to pool resources and help each other with development and support.

why the hell cant they just take those mutiplayer maps they already did zombie makeovers on and extend them and slap them in as round based maps? it doesnt have to be anything fancy or have any stupid story forced narrative, just something creepy as fuck like the neighborhood at night run down by zombies, so much potential for an easy map with something like that. we should get like 2 extended multiplyaer maps turned into zombie ones a season at the least

Don't mess too much with it. Let's have a PVP option, Leave OUTBREAK for the next game I loved it but too much content will fracture the comunity to a point that no servers will be populated. Hopefully they make a decent hash at the PVP as I miss the DMZ experince!
We need a cooldown system for stash items
I think it's nice to just have one warlord per match but I do think it'd be a cool game mode if there was a More Warlord Mode where all the warlords are in there that would be pretty cool. See how fast all teams work together to defeat all the warlords.
I think I've they do these special modes, they need to keep them. Because even Warzone has a few permanent modes, I don't see why zombies can't also have several modes. Maybe an Outbreak version where each contract progresses the rounds, pvp, and standard open world. It's just like resurgence and other modes, zombies has just lost all its respect that it gained throughout the years, not even from the fans but from the studios.
