  1. As far as I can tell, the Zombies weapon upgrade items (Aether Tools/Pack-a-Punch) don't seem to have an effect on the damage output of weapons against human AI, so theoretically, the 'Special PvP Rift Zone' idea is already a viable possibility since this should carry over to PvP scenarios.

Another idea that just came to mind for me is that Microsoft's acquisition of Activision has brought in the possibility for alot of different IP to be brought in to CoD. One that stands out to me as something that could mesh with Zombies really well, beyond Diablo, is DOOM.
They have already brought in the Super Shotgun and Chainsaw blueprints bundle, however I can't help but think that, if they wanted to, they could bring in a few id Software's Devs and assets to create a Super Special Rift that appears as maybe part of an easter egg quest, that when you complete it, the Rift opens up but instead of your usual Zombies monsters, Demon's from DOOM's Hell start pooring in and attacking everything they see (Zombies, Players, AI) while the Aether Storm timer pauses and a new Zone of Corruption (that spawns Demons instead of Zombies and periodically zaps players with Argent Plasma rather than requiring a gas mask) begins to slowly spread out and take over the map. The PaP'd/Aether Tool upgraded weapons have no effect on the Demons (same damage out profile as against human AI/other players). The DOOM Demons are Tier'd with Imps and The Possessed along with other Fodder Demons being Teir I, Heavy Demon's such as Cacodemons, Hell Knights, Revenants, etc. are Teir II, and Super Heavy Demons such as the Mancubus and Barron's of Hell are Tier III, with Cyberdemons/Tyrants being Rare BOSS's that spawn from the Rift at the Rift site. Killing the Cyberdemon/Tyrant drops the BFG 9000 as a special Wonder Weapon Case and it is just as devastating against CoD Zombies/Dark Aether monsters, and the Human AI, as it is against the Demons in DOOM Eternal. After you defeat the Cyberdemon/Tyrant, The Rift will close and The Zone of Corruption will stop spreading, but Tier I & II Demons will still spawn within the Zone but with a lower spawn rate and than the Aether Storm timer will unpause and continue counting down to the usual Final Exfil.

  2. I was a hardcore PvP player for DMZ, and I still enjoy the new MWIII zombies. I think it would be a very fun thing to do a limited time event for PvP in zombies every season to get DMZ killers into the mode. Love the content, been watching since BO3.

  3. Question… PVP in mwz, what if it was only in a specific location in a map. Perhaps in that location only, players see other players as zombies and you can shoot each other. There is a weapons case or high tier loot that is only available in the PVP area. Once you leave the PVP area, you can not get hurt from enemy players. Just a thought.

  4. God I hope they don't make it insanely hard, there's solo players out there to please. If they did a terrible idea like make it so other players can kill you, they will instantly lose a portion of the community. Impossible missions is an awful idea, zombies is casual, don't try to only make it for you. Go play warzone

  5. Me, being a Zombie co-op loving guy, I loved the mechanics of DMZ. But I hated the PvP side of it. All my friends(zombie lovers) said the same. If DMZ was PvE it would be cool… 😮😬🤔 And it is!! With Zombies 😃

  6. I can understand why those who enjoy a more stressful experience and are used to high octane action would want the game to be forcibly more difficult, but I don't think that's the right call for everyone. Having a different zone or variation of the mode with more difficult situations across the board would be fine, but I don't think the current MWZ playerbase would dive into it or appreciate it being forced into the current game.

That being said, steps have been taken to make the game easier since launch, like reducing the amount of zombies at a time, not just at exfil. Yes, it may have been to help with crashes or exploits or whatever the reason of the week may be. But, I feel like launch was a fair experience because it was difficult, no one had anything, but naturally as you grind and level up and come in with T2/3 Pack off the bat, you're going to feel that the game is too easy. But I don't think the answer is changing the fundamentals of the game and making it more punishing for the more casual players just to cater to more hardcore players. Ultimately, they may mix and there may be people like me that may enjoy a more traditional experience but also really enjoy this hybrid. But I feel there is a delicate line when making changes to make the game more difficult for those who are already joining for the first time and trying to catch up or those who are just more casual and enjoy it as it is.

  7. If would be cool if they added a map like DMZ's Building 21 for zombies. In Building 21, all enemies are elite soldiers, so if you don't spawn in fully kitted, you'll struggle and most likely die. So what they could potentially do, is use one of the Resurgence maps in the game like Vondel since it is a pretty big map itself, and they can make it have only Tier 2 and Tier 3 zones, right off the spawn. Which ramps that difficulty up unless you bring in your crystals, tools, 3 plate carriers, etc.

  8. Act1 Act2 Act3 is a Campaign mode in zombies setting. The Worm is the Campaign Boss, not an Easter Egg boss (looks like EEgg Boss). Waiting for that Easter Egg story & Boss… 🤞👍

  9. The dmz mission didn't become much more interesting until season 3/4 where we got multiple maps, crafting, wallet, carryover quest item, widespread of 6 man teams, etc etc. The first few season of dmz quest were relatively tutorialish. If zombie develop along that path, it could get alot more interesting even without pvp.

  10. Great interview but I got to be the one that got to keep it all the way funky💯 . Any form of PVP will ruin MWZ because players will abuse it and that's the reason why DMZ died . We cant sit here and pretend like buddy and his pals didn't help lead DMZ into the trash 🗑️ because they played it like warzone lite but now everyone wants to play oblivious on why DMZ died like the devs just abandoned it 🥴🥴🤦🏿‍♂️.

  11. They could have kept dmz and saved some pvp gameplay if they had you load into zombies world through portals like they did for koschei complex dmz. Tier 3 zone needs to move or spawn in new random locations it’s going to become stale and very predictable

  12. A way to make PvP zombies is to have a separate bare bones mod with no perks, pack-a-punch and upgrade weapons, and the zombies have lower health so they are killable with stock weapons, but have other players that can damage along with the zombies. Have tier 3 and up DMZ style missions for players to complete. This will help bring in the randomness and excitement of having other players on the field. Imagine players using zombies to trap and kill other players, and the intense stress when having a rare item while having zombies and players hunting you down. Also I forgot to mention NO TIME LIMITS or like an 2 hour time limit.

  13. For ever game, they should have like a pursuer like Nemesis from resident evil 2 that is unkillable (or nearly) and just follows players at random. Maybe even chases them into tier three. Or has a chance of coming in messing you up after you do a certain amount of missions.

  14. Heres a hot take, i kinda feel like they screwed themselves with the weapons system of zombies. They shouldve made it more like tarkov where you have a stash, start with like no weapons, and the only weapons you could use are the ones you have extracted with. You can still level them and whatnot, but you would have to find it in game/ exfil with it to take it back in. Then there would actually be a reason to use the mystery box

  15. hey id love to know what you feel about zombies showing points like multiplayer when you kill them and all the other bs that Cold War introduced into the game mode. I just feel like the mode doesn't get enough backlash and that's why they keep heading in this super gimmicky direction they've been treading towards. nobody seems to talk about this but I feel like all the new stuff they added in Cold War and still have in the game make zombies a joke and close to no feel what it used to be like. I've commented this on your past few videos I would love to hear what you would have to say.

  16. On a counterpoint, it's so funny if 2 squads are going for the same contract. Yesterday i raced another team to an hvt, my car was slower byt i knew the map better. I almost killed my ride getting there 1st. I got the contract and they start shooting my car. They forgot i was fast af while holding a contract. I stole their quad with them angrily shooting at me.
You do get these funny moments with other players around but much less frequently

  17. As a long time dmz player and watcher of stodeh westie and phixate I'm sure they would agree that on the current iteration of mwz there is really nothing that they have that would keep us engaged past the mission grind. Wich I have all but the tier 3 infestation and final mission left at this point. And only because I wanted to extend it out until s.1. Also they need to make the items that are extremely cheap stackable to higher number like 10. You could stack 8-10 jumper cables in dmz. Where you can only do 3 in mwz

  18. That 4th operator would give HUGE incentive for players to have something that keeps the game in being difficult yet chaotic enough with some really high loot almost everywhere while constant feeling of what’s going to come at me next while I go to look in this building.

  19. I like the video, and I'm not trying to hate but:
What i don't want is a zombies mode tailor made for dmz players that play it a couple times and then ultimately ditch it for something like dmz or warzone

I understand that they are trying to bring in new players for the sake of having good numbers, but what's the point. If they just water down zombies to a point where it's just zombies existing with little to no story or any sustenance whatsoever, who does that help? Multilayer players who see zombies as nothing more than a slow pace XP farm?
And then Activision see that there hella people playing MWZ and think this is the formula they need to keep, and we just keep getting more and more soulless zombies experiences.

I actually like the mode, I just don't want to see it repeated every year.

  20. I’ve always been a zombies player but I really enjoyed DMZ… until I had several games in a row where I got ambushed during exfil and even if the other players were able to take out the enemy team they just wait for me to bleed out and stole all my stuff. PvP should stay out of MWZ or we’ll risk the same problem

  21. 26:42 I would tweak this idea a bit; toward the end of act 3 there were a couple missions that forced tier 3, I think the first 3 acts are meant to get people acclimated to the difficulty levels. My guess is that by the end of the story we should be seeing a story mission that exists fully in tier 3 or maybe even some special tier 4 zone

  22. I never played DMZ outside of one or two games to just see what it's all about. After watching this, it seems like something I'd totally be into. Weird to feel sad that something I never really played isn't returning.

  23. I've been thinking a lot about a way to incorporate pvp into mwz Picture this:
After the last exfil leaves, instead of the match just ending with anyone left behind dying, the match instead becomes an "every man by himelf" type of thing where:
-The map is always engulfed by the storm so you have to constantly refill your mask.
-Tier 3 (maybe even 4?) zombies and bosses spawn everywhere in the map.
-Chance for better and cooler rewards and schematics (maybe the aschematic for the scorcher only drops at this stage or a reskinned zombie chemist skin).
    – An Exfil rift opens at the center of the map but theres one catch:
Every player left after last exfil gets the "Survive by any means" contract which can't be cancelled and flags anyone who has it for pvp. The objective of this contract is to be the last squad/player in the entire server and the reward is the key for using the exfil rift and exfiling with any loot you got throughout all stages.
This would bring both pvp and zombies worlds together pretty well IMO and remove the risk of someone spawn camping players with PAP 3 weapons from the start!
If you decide to pvp and stay after last exfil, youd have to bring your absolute best upgrades until the end of the match PLUS survive inside the aether storm with crazy difficult zombies all around and still be the last one standing for all of it to be worth it.

  24. Can ANYBODY please explain to me what the hell these goddamn aether tools are doing exactly? You can find 100.000 vids where everybody keeps telling you "Uncommon Aether Tools will upgrade your currently held weapon to Uncommon Rarity." REALLY?!? WTF does it mean? WTF does uncommon rarity do?
How much I hate these modern days! Everybody is trying to get content out but NOBODY on the goddamn internet is capable of understanding the game and how it works?!?
4 weeks before the next season you get already spoilt about the content of it but nobody can look up, what these goddamn aethertools are doing? Is it 10% more damage 20% 50% 100% nobody seems to know and nobody seems to care.
Why I do have to google this shit for hours and still can`t find an answer to that simple question about the newest AAA-game? But Everybody keeps putting their shitty nonsense content out without giving proper information.

  25. What about a team vs team objective list that permits teams to compete objects with time challenges or damage challenges and who ever completes the objective faster or kills the most zombies in higher tiers receive special exclusive rewards according to their accomplishments.
