If he would have done a ground up restoration on the Boss 429 I’ll bet it would have made one million.
Just bought 69 fastback… super excited to restomod it. It's been my dream car for a while
🙈🙈🙈
Hello Richard Rawlings cop26 gas
I think the reason the buyer stole the extremely valuable Boss 429 is that nobody trusts Gas Monkey garage vehicles that go up for sale.
i want some of that
They stole this car for $127K it will sell for $500K all day long.
Dam denis looks so dam stupid with the shoulder pads in his jacket
That's more then what it was purchased for. I wouldn't be disappointed at all, he made 35 grand that's a heck of a deal.
That’s a lot more than I would pay for it, after it’s been through that shop of hacks.
Ya win some and lose some.
Worst time of year for a high bid
Yep, Richard should have known that if you do not put a reserve price on the car at auction, then the risk factor of taking a huge loss is always possible. I have seen an old man selling his dream car a original Shelby many years ago, with no reserve price and the final bid was almost &90000 less than what he thought he will get. He was so angry and told the auctioneers that they have scammed him and demanded his car back. Of course they said no and not even a good lawyer could convince the old man, that he took a huge risk and got far less than anticipated.
The last mustang i saw them fix a late 60 mustang and it got into a crash and was written off.
thats why u dont buy fords lol
That’s still 31k profit but dang they lost big lol they practically lost 200k
While I understand Richard's feelings, reality is he made good profit in general.
As much as I love a Boss 9, it's only worth what someone's willing to pay for it.
God, I think Dennis Collins is somehow even more of a douchebag than Richard Rawlings.
makes my soul happy to see richard lose money on anything he gets his hands on. his builds are always subpar quality at best and why his original builder left. got tired of pushing out over priced half assed crap.
Should have left it to rot, and not paid over 50 k cash for it.
Dennis and another one of his failed Holy Grail 😅
Stupid rush
I would have NEVER SOLD that car.
Why would you sell it🤦🏽♂️
This dude that underpays then gets the cheapest work done to get his profit at auction , tooled up looking is the worst of really all car guys, the way he goes about it also is just so cringe
If DB had a face that’s really it
If I go to sell my special little car, it'll be advertised at a certain price, turn up and offer me just over half of the advertised price and you'll be told 2 words…… starts with F and ends in uck off, then you would have been TOLD in no uncertain terms to get the F**k out or a swift kick in the nuts will follow.
My special little car is currently locked in an alarmed garage, CCTV is also active, 1974 Ford Escort Mexico ex rally car, I've owned it longer than I've been married
I'm not sure why Richard keeps doing this. He loses his ass at the auction every single time.
Market controls the price noy you Richard.
My dream car. My dream situation.
At 2:58?
You guys are missing the opportunity to be the next WWE tag team champions!!!!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJ1gMrKB3z0 what it should have been….
