About 25:00 when Mussolini saw his daughter dancing with the right candidate…Even though he was a Hitler, that scene was a father looking approvingly at his daughter.
Excellent historical movie, except for the voice overs/dubbing. They are not believable – almost laughable.

Saying that it’s in a man’s nature to cheat is such a crock of crap. We can all choose to be moral or immoral regardless of sex. Fidelity is equally possible for both the sexes if they are honorable people who love god and love others. When you truly love you aren’t capable of cheating. It’s so selfish.
Voice overs made a mess of this movie. Can't get thru it
Fairytale but far from reality the wicked Mussolini the freshest the creator of many evil came from Russia Italy still coming out of the room and Vatican Assassinating so many innocent people very rarely know the truth about this historical figures the real truth not the fairytales

It sux the back ground sounds drown out the actors word so badly I had to close captions.

My grandfather's brother was one of the 7 priests that married his daughter . He gave each priest a gold pocket watch .
With so many devious rogues around during the same era ,Mussolini's malignant malfeasance seemed to be somewhat niglected by historians . In the actual newsreel clip of his speeches he certainly gives one the impression of a full blown megalomaniac. His facial expressions and peculiar head nodding always makes me think, in his mind he's thinking, " I'm the greatest, yes me, look at me , I'm your great leader, " I cringe and chuckle simultaneously. I believe if you chalk up ,misery ,death and destruction he comes in a distance third after Hitler and Stalin. Thanks, appreciate the upload.

I love Italy, I love history, and I loved this movie! I learned a lot! Good acting , and it was thrilling to see all the locations in Italy that I've been to once again.
It's impossible to feel any sympathy for her.
We would have much preferred to hear the original sound with this film. The dubbing by Americans seems to bring it down two or three stars. :-/
