I didnt get along with mum well but one day i release if we spent the day out away from everyone then we did it every week once a week our time we got very close but my dad i never got along for 30 yrs until he got sick and we talk for the first time more then 5 minutes without a fight but he told me something that my mum told me and it was my brothers that cause the trouble the whole time and i haven't spoken to them for 8 yrs and they begging me to make peace because they want something
Damn right! You don't get to use your kids as your own personal punching bags, in effect robbing them of their childhood, and then expect them to take care of you when you're on death's door!
She got the support, but what she really wanted her oldest daughter to physically put the $$$ in her hand to have some contact with her. The mother turned down direct deposit, electronic payments and a papercheck.
Their dad was abusive and she got away from him in the middle of the night
I had a wonderful caring protecting loving not perfect mother and I would give anything to have with me. My heart breaks for those who never had unconditional love of their mother…and family.
Parental support? Parents are suppost to support themselves not mooch off their kids regardless of the abuse alligations or hatred the adult children have for their mom in this case the very idea of parental support shouldnt be a thing just like spousal support for exs child support up til adulthood is understandable but the rest grow the fuck up get a job get disability if you need it but stop with this entitled bullcrap

My mother passed passed when i was in my early 20's…i never had to be put in this position…thankfully.
