MTG, AOC & Jasmine Crockett trade insults at House Oversight Committee hearing | LiveNOW from FOX

Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Jasmine Crockett had heated exchanges Thursday during a contempt hearing for Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Less than an hour after the hearing was underway, Greene took shots at her Democratic colleague, Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas.

“Do you know what we’re here for?” Crockett asked MTG, who shot back: “I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading.”

AOC then weighed in saying, “I do have a point of order, and I would like to move to take down Ms. Green’s words. That is absolutely unacceptable. How dare you attack the physical appearance of another person… move her words down.”

“Are your feelings hurt?” Greene asked.

“Oh girl, baby girl!” Ocasio-Cortez shot back. “Don’t even play!”

Greene later agreed to strike her words but refused to apologize and insulted Ocasio-Cortez’s intelligence.

“You will never get an apology out of me,” Greene said.

Later in the hearing, after recess, Crockett stirred up chaos again.

“I’m just curious, just to better understand your ruling,” Crockett said. “If someone on this committee then starts talking about somebody’s bleach blonde, bad built butch body, that would not be engaging in personalities, correct?”

  1. Little Girl Lost is AOC! Back in 2016 Alexandra Rojas executive director of justice democrats put out a call for nominations and they received over 10,000 and out of those 10,000 they picked Cortez because they think that she's going to be their new superstar, they think she has star power and that she's the most famous person in congress right now, they even brag about it and think their casting was perfect" HA! Cortez is not really the congresswoman of New York's 14th district. She is essentially an actor. She merely playing the part of a New York Congresswoman and its absolutely insane! Her brother Gabriel sent in her application, "My brother told me that he had sent my nomination in the summer, but I was, like, literally working out of restaurant, like there's no way" she replied. "Little Girl Lost" was hired as a political actor and was elected thanks to a casting call put out there by the democrats, she's just a face for the camera, a fake, a fraud, a phony! FJB!!!

  2. It needs to be a lot easier to remove these people from office!! MTG and Boebert don't even know how the congress works!! If we don't know how to do our jobs, we get fired! Comer doesn't know how congress works either! There needs to be better standards to become politicians!

  3. The social structure of this country made MTG feel that she had the right as a white woman to insult black and brown women without consequence. Had she been dealt with and made to respect others instead of being given the option of an apology, she would have learned that her BS would not be tolerated. However, she was allowed to say that she would never apologize, so it left it open for these women to defend themselves. And as usual, when the black woman defends herself, she does it in a way that the person she is speaking to understands that she is not the one and she is going to be told she went too far. MTG has since then put out a video of her working out, so her little comment of "is your feelings hurt" is ironic because hers clearly was. Meanwhile, Crockett is still blinking pretty with her eyelashes on fleek!

  4. The problem is not merely the unprovoked personal attacks originating from MTG. It is the unfairness. Rules apply to EVERYONE. The Republican chair ignored the rules of engagement to allow the MTG nonsense to proceed unchecked against her two Democratic colleagues while upholding the rules when they fought back appropriately.
