As Cheech and Chong day descended on Las #Vegas we learned more info about the new high-end shopping district that will be housed at #Fontainebleau Las Vegas. We also saw both Allegiant Stadium and the MSG Sphere catch fire, but thankfully neither did a ton of damage.
In other #news MSG Sphere’s parent company is reorganizing, Bally’s letters are now gone from Las Vegas, the 50 foot showgirls are going up, Caesars Palace has unveiled their newly improved dome and a 50 year in the making art project is about to open in the Nevada desert.

if you look at the Caesars video you can see they changed the lights, got a massive chandelier and there's a design all throughout the ceiling that almost looks like the Caesars logo I cant tell

I knew about the fire at Allegiant but didn’t know about MSG
The Golden Steer looked great.
That’s why I quit Caesar’s and went to MGM. Caesar does to much penny pinching while mgm does not.
I learned about Fendi when I was in Italy in 2017. With t-shirts costing $850.00 (back then), I guess they don't have to sell too many items to make their day. Fontainebleau is probably pushing their construction deadline to be completed in time for the F1 race. Thanks for the weekly update.

Just returned from my 5 day stay at the Rio. Had a wonderful strip view which included a view of the flood channels. Several small tent cities under Flamingo Ave. in the flood channels. Saw homeless coming and going out of the flood channels at all hours. Homeless charging their phones in the corner of the masquerade area, they go in to cool down during the day. The room was clean, but the A/C could not keep the size of the room cool enough, the TV was not working (remote was the problem after a visit from maintenance), and the phones did not work for over a day, which forced me to walk and wait in line at the front desk for my maintenance issues. Most of the restaurants closed or close early. 1 stay at the Rio was enough.
Was just at Golden Steer on Thursday. Loved it…Vintage Vegas…get the special tour from Ass’t Mgr Wendy!
Food and Service…Excellent and Top Shelf!
The irony of the Fountainebleu is that it will possibly be almost open again just in time for another financial meltdown.
A better four hour drive from Vegas is Antelope Canyon, in Page Arizona, fantastic.

It seems to me that this new name Horseshoe for the ancient Bally's is not the proper name for a casino in Las Vegas Blvd., but instead the name for a Texan cattle ranch near San Antonio. What kind of customers do the owners of the Horseshoe expect to have there? Sweaty cowboys and rodeo people from Abilene?
