Today we continue this week’s theme of Horizon Simulation project mods and addons for Microsoft Flight Simulator with a first look one sector hop from Glasgow down to the recently released iniBuilds Southampton Airport!
We’ll be reviewing the Southampton Airport addon by iniBuilds upon arrival, plus chatting about the LatinVFR A319 with the Horizon Simulations modifications to see if it’s “VATSIM Ready” and good enough, bearing in mind you have to pay for the base LVFR A319 first for it to work.

Awesome video. Glad you are feeling better. My cold/cough was rough last month.
Sounds are nice but it just makes me even more eager for the Fenix A319 and 320. Won’t be buying LVFRs versions just to mod with freeware.
Have been an avid viewer for a long time – in fact it was yourself and another YouTuber (he might be someone with pride in the Air Force and born in 95? 😜), so for the last two years have been battling along on the Xbox series X thinking Asobo would live up to their promises of continuous improvement.
Instead it got worse and worse to the point that as of SU13 barely anything in the sim works on the console (yet MS are happy to continue ripping off the console users in their marketplace).
Anywho, my point is I finally laid down a tonne of cash and customised a PC and I couldn’t be happier.
I already had the LVFR line up from the Xbox, and thought they were pretty good. So naturally I went for the Horizon mods – and it’s put my plans of getting into the Fenix on hold as these mods, plus also the FBW A20n, are pretty good.
I can actually feel the weight of the aircraft as opposed to the feather-light handling in the raw versions.
And I HATED my Thrustmaster TCA Captain’s Pack, but it’s because I didn’t realise how amazing it is on PC.
It’s a shame LVFR can’t see the bigger picture – they still get the sale of their base aircraft regardless of who mod’s them.
I’m not bothering with their A330/340, I did watch the LVFR A330 reviews and no surprises that is was not greatly received.
For some reason ,when I see an Airbus in MSFS I think of Fenix. Anyone heard from Amir lately? 5 days left in October and even the Fenix fanboys are awful quiet, the Discord is lifeless. Looking like another release date bust and we're all still left with an incomplete $50 product . No news is bad news 98% of the time in this business. Amir? Where are you? What's the latest excuse?
